Golfer Reviews
Mint Valley
I have been coming to this course since I could lift a club. This Course has everything and for a price that just can’t be beaten; 6-Hole Par 3 Course, Chipping practice green, Putting practice green, Driving Range (equipt with new features and targets), a Pro Shop recently stocked with top-shelf gear/equipment with a Restraunt now containing a new Bar and Grill, and a brand spankin new fleet of about 50 shiny golf carts with rain covers and USB charging capabilities. The course isn’t so terrible either... it is a fairly challenging 18 hole course with 3 tee boxes that is very well kept and maintained for the golfing season. Place your tee shots strategically, as the dog legs will provide plenty of opportunities to catch some shade under the trees on a hot day. If the ponds surrounding various holes were safe to swim in I would rent a spot in the parking garage and just live there in the summer. The new staff is doing a great job. Don’t be surprised if it’s a little busy when the warm weather comes!
Was an excellent day at the course. 54 degrees with a slight wind, best weather in weeks. Paired up with another twosome and we all got along. Mint Valley is a flat course that lets you walk without stealing all your energy, good for an old man like myself. The course was dry and the greens were good. I have played this course often over the years and most of the time enjoyed it.
great October day
Nice weather and fairways were in great shape. Greens were just punched and sanded but playable.
GREENS
The greens were rolled out instead of cut. First in 52 years of golf that I saw that.
Great course.
We were met by very friendly staff. Course was in great shape and we couldn't be happier with our decision to play there. Would definitely come again if we are in the area.
Oops...There’s a Tourney
We booked 18 thru GolfNow. We had s back nine start...no problem. At about 17 or our 8...carts of golfers started zooming to their starting points for s shotgun start. We didn’t finish but the course manager was awesome and gave us two free 18 hole vouchers...we love the course and whenever there is s problem, they make it right!
Great Course for a Novice and a bit more experienced alike
Course is beautiful. Well maintained. Greens quick. Fairway cut wit a rough at sides. Convenience cart for beer and water runs pretty consistently. Staff super friendly. We are playing it again twice next week.
Fun fun fun
Met up with friends through the website and had a blast. It was accidental that we booked the same tee time!
Very Nice Course
Great public course. Nice wide fairways and fast greens. Well worth the money.
Slow play
It took 4 and 1/2 hours to play. In 9 holes you should take 2 hours. Last 9, 2 hours for 4 hours. Can't play golf in a nice pace. Get off the course or let the group behind to pass.
Enjoyable Course
First time at Mint Valley and enjoyed the course. Some interesting, fun holes that provide challenge without being overly difficult. I definitely gambled on some holes. Plan to come back to see how these holes play taking a different approach or trying the same thing again because I know I can get a better result.
