About
Allenmore Golf Course is located in the heart of Tacoma but thanks to the beautiful setting with Mt. Rainier serving as a backdrop, it feels like it's actually miles from the city. The layout is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and though it's not particularly long, it offers plenty of variety. It's a course where you'll have to use every club in your bag. Trouble lurks at almost every turn in the form of doglegs, trees, or out-of-bounds. Water hazards also come into play. With uphill, sidehill, and downhill lies, the course is never boring and while there are some challenging holes, there are also birdie opportunities if you play strategically. In addition to the golf course, Allenmore also has a short-iron driving range and a practice facility with chipping and putting greens.

Cool day of golf
Had a great time. Paired up with a couple of guys that were fun to play with.
Golf pace was pretty good on the front half, but as we got to the 12th, things started backing up. Gave up after 1he 15th. We had a 10 minute wait at each hole starting at 13th.
But. We will be back

Allenmore Golf Course
Given the amount of rain the Pacific NW has had, I was surprised how well conditioned the course was. The greens were a bit slow, but all-in-all it was a terrific day.

Experience
The course was extremely slow because everyone walks. We ended up quitting after 10 holes so we lost money.

I, unfortunately, compare courses I play to Chambers bay. So if Chambers is a 5, Allenmoore is a 3. Allenmoore is a fine course, but it’s not Chambers.
