About
Allenmore Golf Course is located in the heart of Tacoma but thanks to the beautiful setting with Mt. Rainier serving as a backdrop, it feels like it's actually miles from the city. The layout is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and though it's not particularly long, it offers plenty of variety. It's a course where you'll have to use every club in your bag. Trouble lurks at almost every turn in the form of doglegs, trees, or out-of-bounds. Water hazards also come into play. With uphill, sidehill, and downhill lies, the course is never boring and while there are some challenging holes, there are also birdie opportunities if you play strategically. In addition to the golf course, Allenmore also has a short-iron driving range and a practice facility with chipping and putting greens.

Allenmore Golf course
The course is just average, yet the cost was above average. The restaurant is fantastic! Food and service is worth going even if you are not golfing.

Favorite Public Course in Tacoma
Allenmore is my favorite Tacoma public course. The course design and layout is pretty good and fun to play. It’s hard enough to be somewhat challenging but it’s not so hard that it’s not fun. Only negative really is that it gets busy and can get a little beat up in the summer.

Fun course with plenty of challenges
Course was in good shape, but greens rolled slower than practice area. Good course for any skill level. Reasonably priced and easy to get to.

Nice course played the back nine as a two-some as we lost our other two players. In really good shape especially due to the lack of rain in the area. Will play again.

Great course for what you pay for. Worth every penny. For being late July the fairways and greens were in amazing condition. Definitely will be back in the near future.
