Downhill
Course is going downhill! Used to be really nice. Greens are in bad shape, fairways are brown
Fun to Play at Lewis River again!
The course is looking good and played well. We enjoyed the scenery and the course. Not too crowded, so the pace of play was great!! Fun to play, looking forward to playing there again.
As always a fun course
this is a great course; fun , challenging but not overwhelming for a 20 handicap. lower handicaps can get into trouble, so it keeps them on their toes.
View off the restaurant deck is one of the best!
Awesome
Love the coarse, great condition & a pleasure to play!
Mehhh
Check in was ok, but not great after that. Greens were rough, course was so hard and dry, no bev cart, and no one available to help seat or serve us in restaurant. $62 with a cart is high.
SLOWWWWW
Played in a 3-some. We had a married couple with a toddler in stroller in front of us. An older 4-some in front of them and in front of them. We had to wait on every hole for every shot. One employee told us he told the front group to play faster. I think they purposely played slower after that. I enjoyed the course, but the pace of play was so slow that it made it unpleasant.
Up & In
From the first glance of the course It’s easy to see why you’d have to play it. Tee boxes are plush and level, fairways are manicured and ample and the scenery is to behold.
There are no “Tricked Up” greens or fairways to frustrate or slow the pace of play. If your walking you’ll not have highly angled fairways. What little up and down fairways you’ll come to are gradually angled.
Tried it out
Heard there was new ownership. Stayed away before because of reviews but was pleasantly surprised by great conditions faraway roll and responsive greens
Back in Action
Under new ownership, greens were in good condition, fairways in good condition. Was really impressed compared to last summer.
Lewis River
Course was in fantastic condition. Perfect grass in the fairways. Great lies in everywhere. Greens were excellent. Speeds were a little variable, but not bad.
Wat better than last fall. I will play it again. It is back on my circuit.
Improvement
Had not played recently and there was major improvements. Flower beds cleaned, shrubs around water hazards trimmed. Course was summer like dry. Could bump and run even around greens. They have put a lot of effort and staff is very friendly.
