Lewis River Golf Course

Climate change is real, dry and warm in the middle of April is amazing. The course was dry, the greens fast and the pace of play a bit slow. Beautiful course when it’s dry and sunny like it is now, go play.

Needs to be more available and should stop taking reservations from golf now, made 3 reservation and never have I gotten my carts when asked. Love the course and the people

Besides staff friendliness all else was fine. Maybe having a bad day

It’s spring and winter can be brutal on a course in the PNW, but the state of the greens at Lewis River were absolute trash. Large sandy patches on every other green, huge landing divots on every hole. The length and design of the holes here make for a great course, but the journey is ruined when you end up at a green that looks like someone’s backyard grass. Not surprising that the course was virtually empty, which did make for a nice pace of play.

Beautiful course but some of the greens are in bad condition.

Nice course, nice pace of play. Except for hole 16 & 17 which eat my lunch every time. But that is me not the course.

Pleasant looking course that is a bit out of the way. Good club house, but the soap dispensers aren't always loaded. Average difficulty for most golfers, but there is water, woods and sand so a bit of a challenge for beginners.

Played here many many times, just needs some TLC

Greens not bad, not great

Brother and I played this course on a cloudy day. Challenging course but fun

This course could be special once again. Years ago it was. Condition now is poor. Greens, with the exception of two or three have rebounded.. Fairways are somewhat barren. Roughs are pure hard pan with so much debris. It’s sad, the course is just poorly maintained.

Fun and challenging from the tips. All good except the 10th green (brown spots) . Go ahead and try and make it to the 12th green in two. Its a straight hole. But from the tips its, 647. Overall lots of fun. Sits next to a beautiful green river. Bald eagles in the trees. Hard to find a better setting for the price anywhere.

I read a review about this problem but refused to image that it could happen to us. My foursome, all senior citizens, arrived early only to find they had no power carts. In fact, some groups had been waiting an hour. Our tee time was 12:08 and we finally got 2 carts at 1:00. The staff was kind about it, what could they do? One cart died 6 holes into our round. We played bumper cars til we made the turn. With a full charge it was smooth sailing until we backed up to 3 of the slowest golfers ever. Actually we were sandwiched between them and a twosome that kept hitting into us. All in all, not an experience I would want to repeat.

Sad to see a a past mainstay so poorly mismanaged.

For the second time this year, over an hour wait. Booked a tee time, for 1 pm. First told they were about 1/2 hour behind. A 1/2 hour later was told another half hour. Finally just left. Management rude when asked when or if play would be available.

This summer Lewis River has been a big disappointment. More than once, carts have died mid-round. I would steerclear until their management issues are resolved.

The green is perfect, course design is so nice, very easy to follow even with my first time playing here.

There was several groups in front of us who just took their time. I started as a aingle, allowed to play theough a foursome, joined a threesome, two only played nine, a aingle joined us, then thise two quit due to the slow pace in front of us and then finally joined the original foursome who let me play through as the groups in front of us were soooooo slow. Otherwise a great day.

This course is a Beautiful course! Easy course to walk, love all the water holes and that number 12 WOW its a big one!!! Amazing service the staff are all so nice & knowledgeable! You can tell they really enjoying the golfers and know the game of golf ... The starter and marshall's are very nice, and helpful, they kept the course moving on time.They all go out of the way to help you . The greens are in beautiful shape and running fast!!!!

I enjoyed warming up on the driving range, and pratctice green.

It is a full scale course right down to the grill ... has a veiw of the Lewis River!

I do appreciate the Traditional Golf Attire Dress Code, This is a very special course for sure....

I wish more golf course's could be like this one! A great find, wonderful hidden secret and great golf,
