I typically play a longer more open course! Being strategic off the tee was different for me but with a good choice on club birdie course which is what we want
Very nice day on the links.
This course is in immaculate condition. Very friendly and helpful staff. Challenging to play for the first time but manageable with a few rounds under your belt. The greens are pretty fast and a few of them have a "false front". Get the ball back to the hole! A short but fun course.
A Nice Course for the Money
For the money, this was a nice course. It is a nice layout. A bit short. Grass fairways and greens were in great shape.

Played the Meadows the day before. To be honest we liked Lewisburg CC better. Super fun.

Great course for an excellent price. The restaurant on site is great for grabbing some food and drinks after a round.

This would have been an excellent review if the greens hadn't just been aerated.
This course was very challenging
Played the Greenbrier Old White course on Thursday and opted for a less expensive round on Friday. We had a caddy at the Greenbrier, but I probably needed one more at this course. Very challenging tee shots and elevation changes.

Fairways and rough was lush, greens smooth and quick Had an inexperienced 3-some playing the back rees in front of us that would have had more business playing putt-putt

Short course and fun to play, not so great conditions
This course was a nice fun short course to play that is great for beginners. If you are more of an advanced player, it will be somewhat easy. The greens were recently aerated and so the greens were very slow. Overall, course could’ve been in better conditions since there were bare spots and slow greens. (FYI, average yardage for par 4s are around 280, par 3s and 5s are more reasonable yardages)

Fantastic Course
It’s open earlier than the other courses in the area which is amazing after a long winter. They are always friendly, happy and helpful. Rate of play is great. My new favorite place.

Better time in the bar than on the course
Great staff and cool people in the restaurant- but besides the great greens- this course just isnt worth it. While only a 9 hole track- Valley View golf course in White Sulphur Springs blew the Elks club away- same price. Still worth it on a hot deal or if your are just looking for a quick round in Lewisburg- but we will not be including this one on our next Greenbrier visit- except for linch & dinner in the grill
