Coachman's Golf Resort - White/Blue
About
Coachman's Golf Club is home to three championship nines, providing golfers with three different 18-hole combinations to choose from. The club is just southeast of Madison but it feels much farther thanks to the surrounding acres of wooded hills. The nines: the Red, White, and Blue, boast a scenic landscape covered with mature oaks and willow trees. Although they are a good test, the golf courses were designed to appeal to players of all skill levels from high handicappers to scratch golfers. The White/Blue combination combines the two longest nines. Although the Blue Course was added 20 years after the White nine was built, it is an excellent complement to the older course. In addition to the trees that line the fairways and frame the greens, there are also tricky water hazards coming into play that will keep even the most experienced players on their toes.

Golf Scores
Coachman’s is a great course to play for 10-15 handicap. There are challenging holes. If you hit the ball straight, you don’t have to hit it far and can score. Great staff and awesome restaurant after you complete your round.
Coachman Golf Course
Nice layout, fairways were in good condition. Greens ran true.
Nice course
Nice course right off I 90. 27 holes near Madison WI. . Friendly staff. Value course. Slower greens. Packed house even on a Monday at 4PM. Recommend to play early in the morning, like 7AM.
Fun round sit a 36 on the blue and 37 on the red today.
Play this course
This is a great course to play, with better people working it. They do let larger groups on but they’re respectful.
Course was in fairly good shape. Fairways are nice and green. Greens were well taking care of. Slow greens, tee boxes on the blue course are tough. They are all hilly and not one flat spot. Shorter course even from the Blue's. Not bad for the deal but not exactly a "resort" type course. Club house staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately a little under my standard but had to play to see what its like. Great beginner course. Just not great for the serious golfer.
Great course
The greenest course that I have played this year in WI. Greens were in great shape and the fairways as well. Three 9 hole courses to play all with their own challenges.
Unfriendly Staff
I arrived 45 minutes before my booked tee time. I was a visiting the area and I arrived to the course much earlier than I expected.
At check-in, the pro shop staff was not friendly. Despite my request to go out earlier than my booked tee time, there was no effort made to allow me to play earlier with other groups that had two or three golfers in their group.
The starter, (a younger guy) was very friendly and helpful while I chipped and putted. He agreed to get me out earlier than my booked tee time.
I approached another starter (an older guy wearing a Wisconsin university hat) at the turn. He was very unfriendly when I simply asked him where the 10th Teebox was. He had attitude for no reason at all.
On a positive note, I was able to join a twosome about 15 minutes before my booked tee time. Rich and Chuck were very friendly and great to play with. They knew the course and offered helpful hints. They only played nine holes which is why I needed directions to the 10th Teebox I wish I had only played nine that day so I could avoid the very unfriendly starter.
