About
Hartford Golf Club is conveniently located just outside of Milwaukee. The course has been a part of the community since 1928 when a group of local businessmen who were passionate about golf decided to come together and make the course a reality. The layout is traditional in design and player friendly enough for beginners, but it still offers a few challenges. It's a short golf course by modern standards, measuring 6,519 yards from the back tees. Water isn't terribly prominent, but golfers should be prepared for back-to-back water hazards starting with the third hole. Hartford Golf Club's 12th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards and this dogleg left is also one of the toughest. In addition to the golf course, there are also two full-length driving ranges and a three-hole practice course.

Not bad
Ok course. Seemed like a lot of 350 yard dead straight pat 4s. Not much trouble to get into
Fun course to play
Always enjoy playing here once or twice a year. Course was in good shape, slow pace on front nine. Also need to keep water coolers full on a hot day (it was 89 degrees).
Very Sketchy Pro-shop Employees
I’ve golfed at this course four times this year, and each time they’ve tried to make us pay a second time and playing the “we don’t see a payment on our end” card. Even after showing the app, they continue to question and insist the tee time isn’t paid for.
Either they’re trying to take extra money, or they have no idea what’s going on with GolfNow which they should really do better there.
Very slow and bumpy greens, fairways look like they’re cut once a week, pace of play sucked. Course is a 2.8/10.
WSGA event
Booked tee time at a great rate but course did not tell us that there was a Ladies WSGA event that day which filled up course and slowed play drastically.
Nice course, fun to play
Greens were really good. Friendly staff. Great value.
Fun and relaxing round
This course was on my radar for a while and finally had a chance to do so for a afternoon round. It was a very fun and relaxing round of golf due in part to the forgiving terrain & layout of the course. If you enjoy letting the big dog bark this is the course for you. Course conditions were good and the fact that they had a actual water station & bathroom out on the course was a nice throwback to a simpler time. Thoroughly enjoyed the round and will play again.
First visit
Course is fairly long , especially for women. Greens were in nice shape fairways only average. Very wide open course.
