Ground under repair
The course is under heavy renovation. Hole 11 is MIA so its actually a 17 hole course. The signs and arrows from hole to hole are missing on the back 9 meaning of this is your first round you will get lost, we sure did.
I felt like I was ripped off paying full price for a 17 holes and dealing with such disarray.
What a mess!
Will this course ever be finished?? The 11th hole I guess won't be finished and ready for play til next year, so its a 17 hole course. The tee boxes were horrendous and other than one hole no work was being done. I have played this course over the past 20 years and it just seems its going backwards. The greens were decent but other than that the course is a mess. I won't be back
Great course but I played during construction
First time there. Amazing staff. Great range. Cool layout but the course is under construction making it difficult to enjoy a round but still get some practice in. I’ll come again knowing when it’s all finished it’ll be a 5 star.
Rough but nice
Course is in renovation, however really did not interfere with play! It will be a solid course again when it’s finished!! I still would recommend this track🏌🏿♂️⛳️ Ice job guyzzzz Ed 💪
Under construction and airaided
I really enjoy the layout of the course, however, for a course that is under construction and had airated greens $60 greens fees is highway robbery. Also the course needs to be seeded as there is no rough to be seen. Virtually hard pan throughout the entire course. You can not use wedges around the hole because they will bounce off the turf and skull it across the green.
Course Construction
A lot of tee boxes are under major construction. So they are pushed up. Greens were still under aeration 3/28. So just keep in mind pricing wise. Got a deal to play $40 on a Friday afternoon. Wouldn’t pay more than that with all the construction
Early Season Flop
This was my second outing this season. First was at the Bucks club and it was amazing. Going to bensalem was a huge disappointment. Almost everything is under repair, there is so much debris everywhere the bunkers were almost unusable with the branches in there and the greens were probably in the worst condition i’ve ever seen them. Just seems like no work was done before the season. I will not be returning until late summer and hopefully it will be fixed by then.
Redoing sone holes and tee boxes that are needed hopefully more to come really like the course
Fun course to play
Easy to follow the course layout good signage only wait a few minutes at the par 3’s other than that played the nine holes in less than 2 hours
Hard as a rock !!!
It obvious they don't have any kinda of watering system here. Broke several tees on the tee box's. Need to land a ball 20 yards or so short to have a chance of it staying on the green. Also the 6th is so dry it's cracked in spots.
Bensalem - Need better value
Go to 10 minute tee times for a better pace of play
Beverage cart should be standard for weekend play
I know we haven't gotten any rain for a while but some of the tee boxes were brutal in condition and being rock solid
For $75 it wouldn't hurt to have yardages on the sprinkler heads
You must have an abundance of associate members; wknd tee times are very limited before 2PM
Play this course in the spring. Fall is like concrete
Haven't played here in a long time and I remember why. They don't have any kind of watering system so it's like concrete. So dry that the 6th green had cracks on it cause it was so dry. Hit a ball on some of the fairways they roll all day. Back 9 several holes if you hit a good tee shot your blocked by the over grown trees just triming them would speed up play. Most of the tee boxes are dirt. FYI No water coolers on the whole course but there is a small snack stop at the 6th green.. If you decide to play here do it in the spring . I get there has been a lack of rain get a water buffalo and water this place.
