Spring Valley Country Club

First of all the day didn't start well. The golf shop didn't open until minutes before our tea time at 7am. I had to hurry up and use the bathroom before our tea time. There were already three groups waiting when we finally teed off. Course had a bunch of long par fours and long par 3s. Don't get me wrong it was a challenging course but I don't think I'll be going back.

booked a 6:10 am tee time. the guy at the counter didnt show up until around 6:15 leaving me and the 6:00 tee time waiting. it worked out to our advantage though because the sun hadn't come out yet. the course played well and i was able to bring my wife as a ride-a-long for free.

The course was pretty busy as it was labor day and it was nice outside. My group was a 4 some but for some odd reason 2 singles were let go behind us even before we finished the first hole. Normally we would just left the singles through but pace of play was so slow that it wouldn’t have mattered because every other group in front of us would have let those singles through. And to top it all off the single behind us hit into us while we were on the green on a par 3. It took everything in me not to bury my putter into that guys skull. The single player had a pair behind him. Why didn’t the starter just pair the single with the pair behind him makes no sense to me. It would have evened out pace of play.

The girl at check in told us to take the older carts instead of their newer renovated ones…because we got a Hot Deal…she then told us we had to finish 9 holes in 2 hrs or less or else get kicked off of the course. Never been treated that way before anywhere thru GolfNow and don’t believe her story because after we finished 9 holes which we did in 2 hrs we saw they were having an outing right at that time…and probably wanted them all to get the newer carts. I’ve played this course for 27 years but will never set foot on it again. Enjoy your outings…

“Do as we say, not as we do” I’ve been here 4x time and can confirm the employees on the golf side hate their job/life. They seem extremely miserable to even be at work, at the golf course. They have no problem throwing elderly 5 somes in front of you one day, or a slow walking 2 some on the back right before you make the turn. Get reprimanded for showing up ***1*** minute prior to tee time, saying the other group is “already on the fairway, go join them” (they were already putting) all because I utilized a hot deal via third party??? Why use third party if you’re going to complain and give those golfers a lesser experience? Truly baffling to treat Customers differently more than you already do. 3 days later I show up 10mins early for a 7am tee time. Guy doesn’t open the shop til 7, computer isn’t on til 7:03 and I’m already teeing off late. Should I just go to the fairway as well?? Get told specially which cart to take, it’s full of trash from the night before on top of soaked from the rain the night before. Awesome customer service!!!!!!!! Not. I will say the groundskeepers are nice people. Pro shops should take a hike

Good course at a good price. Would definitely go back. Not overly difficult. Able to enjoy it.

Wrll kept, pace was great and partnered with fun golfers.

Spring valley doesn't have any bunkers which is awsome! It's a challenge with this coarse, par 4's and 5's are fun. Food pretty good in their club house too. I would like to see military and senior discounts. Overall a really fun place.

Always great golfing with friends and hanging out at the clubhouse after our rounds. The course is in better shape, food was delicious, and service was awesome...Look forward to my return soon!
