Christmas Mountain Village - Oaks Golf Course

About
The Oaks Golf Course at Christmas Mountain Village was carefully carved from the rolling hills of Wisconsin Dells. The Oaks is the 18-hole course and it is joined by the nine-hole Pines Course. The names of both courses are indicative of the mature woodland landscape you will find on each. The championship Oaks is a challenging but straightforward layout. You can play it well the first time you play it, so long as you are able to keep it in the short grass. Strategically placed sand traps come into play along many of the greens and there are water hazards on four holes. One of the most memorable holes is the 14th, an uphill par 4 that has three towering oak trees on the left side of the fairway that cause a blind shot to the green.

Great Course
Always enjoy playing here. Usually not very crowded so the pace is good. Course conditions were superb. Some of the prettiest holes of any course around.
Fun Track!
What a treat for the money! The green surrounds and greens themselves were in incredible shape, tournament ready. The back 9 up around the ski slopes has some awesome views and fun tee shots. I’ll be playing again when I’m in the area!
Great layout, fine course!
Play here at least once a year and it is in great shape .
Mulligans is a good place after your round with friendly staff that has been there for awhile.
Solid course
Undulated well manicured greens, not a lot of dog leg rights for the slicers and even the fairways it’s hard to find a level spot. Worth the $ and will play and recommend. We were second group off and cruised all 18 holes.
Beautiful Back Nine
We absolutely loved this course. It had a really nice setup and the back 9 was absolutely breathtaking! No beverage cart on a Friday afternoon was a bit of a bummer though.
Great Shape
Being local I have played this course many times over the years. I would say the course was in the best shape I have ever seen it. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were impeccable. They are keeping areas of rough that used to be knee-high weeds mowed which made for a more enjoyable experience for an amateur like me. That also kept the pace of play good. Kudos to the new superintendent.
Scenic layout
The course is enjoyable and just challenging enough for the average golfer. I would go back anytime.
Good resort style course
Greens were in great shape with a challenging layout.
Fun Course
This is a fun course at a great price in the Dells area. It's not the top end 5 star quality that you get at Wild Rock or Trappers, but the layout is challenging, the greens are quick, and the clubhouse is nice. For 1/3 of the cost of the other courses, this is the best value around. We play this at least once every time we are in the Dells. Played it early season this year and some of the fairway areas were not grown in yet but the fairways were perfectly playable and the greens were perfect.
Overall was a good experience for spring golf. Course was pretty busy, waited a little but wasn’t bad overall great experience
Great course, time for updates though.
First of all the course is one of my favorites in the area. That said though for the premium pricing in comparison to others in the area its lacking a few features. No GPS on the carts. Carts are noisy and underpowered for the hilly terrain. Clubhouse is basically just a check-in station. I absolutely love this course but for the price it is time for updates in order to keep up with local competition.
