Links at Gettysburg
About
The Links at Gettysburg sprawls across rolling hills situated near the hallowed grounds where the defining battle of the Civil War took place. The golf course wages a formidable challenge itself, featuring 35 steep rock cliffs where the stone-lined tee boxes are perched and 10 lakes and waterfalls that come into play throughout. Red rock cart paths give a contrast to the lush greens and sparkling blue waters. The dramatic elevations allow golfers to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside but the scenery can be almost too distracting since the demanding layout requires all of your attention. Be prepared for a bevy of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees. With the challenging layout and unrivaled views, it is no surprise that the Links at Gettysburg is ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in Pennsylvania.

The guy still works at the course after an overt racism situation. They support his actions or he would be FIRED!!!! Photo submitted by u9215442 on 06/24/2020

Great playing in February
Played on a winter day, but conditions were pleasant about 55 degrees, not bad for this time of year. The course was in very good shape and greens and fairways. This course is always in good shape. Had fun, and definitely would recommend playing this course often if you can. It’s a challenge, but a pleasant challenge.
COLD DAY
One of the better courses in the area - very scenic and lots of water. Considering the time of year, the course was in good shape. The greens were good. Due to frozen ground - you got a lot of bounce - not always in the right direction. Staff is very friendly. Note - it is cart path only in winter which makes sense. If you like golf you should understand.
Firm and fast
Played in late January so course conditions were as you would expect them to be. Greens were frozen solid but still rolled fairly decent considering. Pro shop let me tee off on the back to avoid a large group just ahead of me so pace was awesome. Always a treat to find a hot deal for this course.
Winter round
This course was great. We played at the worst possible time due to the weather the course was frozen. The greens were like cement so we had to adjust our game. The course looked to be in great shape and I look forward to playing a round here when it’s summer time.
Great course
Awesome course, Great value. Great staff. It was CPO. Winter golf
Great value!
Although it was cart path only, we still had a nice time. The course is in very good condition for November. Staff gave my son a hard time for wearing jeans, but it’s November, not the middle of summer.
Cold and Windy
For this time of year the course was in excellent shape. The staff was very good and friendly. It wasn't busy because of the weather but we had an enjoyable round. It has a variety of holes that is worth playing.
Great Course
It had rained heavily the day before my round and most of the bunkers held water. The greens were ok , but they are in winter conditions and it is priced accordingly.
This is a great course , very well laid out.
Beautiful, challenging, course.
The fairways and the greens were in very decent shape, however cart path only restriction dampened our spirits a bit. The course is very long and challenging. It has beautiful scenery made even more so by the red rock background throughout.
Fabulous November Golf
Fabulous golf day for November. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in great shape. Cart path only due to rainfall last week slowed pace of play. Bunkers were wet from rainfall and needed work, but overall an enjoyable round on a great course. Friendly staff, thank you!
Gettysburg Gem
Fantastic course. Medium course conditions ranking is only because we played right after 2 inches of rain. We’ll look to come back. Staff was great and the course is one you could play many times over and not be bored. It’s worth traveling outside the DC metro area to play!
Thank you for traveling from DC to play at The Links! We look forward to seeing you soon!
Pristine
This course is something to marvel at. Perfect greens, sloping fairways, and unique holes. Three holes have a green set in a cliff side which is picture perfect. If your looking for a extremely high quality course with challenging holes and beauty throughout this is it. I will definitly be back
Thank you for playing at The Links! We are happy you had a great experience!
Excellent layout
This golf course is a good challenge for all levels of players. The greens are difficult and are in very good shape. Bunker sound is quite good. Fairways could use a little work, but in general are OK. The course has many interesting and challenging holes.
Thank you for play at The Links! We look forward to seeing you again!
Thank you for the positive comments on the course.
First Timer
Invested in the yardage book at the pro shop which is a must for the first time player. It's a course you have to select your club wisely or you will find yourself through the fairway or in the drink. Water and sand on almost every hole. Greens don't look the best but roll true and were fast. They were cutting the high rough around the course so didn't look the best, but still a very nice course.
Thank you for playing at The Links! We are always making improvements. We hope to see you again soon!
A must play course
We’ve played here a few times a year for 3-4 years and are never disappointed. One time the pace of play was really slow and they do go to cart-path only at the slightest threat of rain. However, it’s a course that’s worth the trip. Conditions are always good to excellent. Layout is challenging and fun with lots of elevation changes and some nice risk-reward holes. Scenery is really nice, too, especially with the red rock backdrop on three of the holes. Back 9 much tougher than the front as water comes into play on multiple holes.
Thank you for playing at The Links! We are glad you enjoy your time here and look forward to seeing you soon!
Disappointed for such a nice course
What happened to the golf ethics? Divots were everywhere on the fairway and ball marks on the greens. For such a nice course, you would think the golfers that play there are not beginners or without good golf ethics. The course layout are very nice and challenging. I hope the staff will remind the golfers to take care of the divots and ball mark, Else the course will go downhill.
Thank you for playing at The Links! We are always making improvements to the course. We look forward to having you back!
