About
The Links at Gettysburg sprawls across rolling hills situated near the hallowed grounds where the defining battle of the Civil War took place. The golf course wages a formidable challenge itself, featuring 35 steep rock cliffs where the stone-lined tee boxes are perched and 10 lakes and waterfalls that come into play throughout. Red rock cart paths give a contrast to the lush greens and sparkling blue waters. The dramatic elevations allow golfers to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside but the scenery can be almost too distracting since the demanding layout requires all of your attention. Be prepared for a bevy of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees. With the challenging layout and unrivaled views, it is no surprise that the Links at Gettysburg is ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in Pennsylvania.

The guy still works at the course after an overt racism situation. They support his actions or he would be FIRED!!!! Photo submitted by u9215442 on 06/24/2020

First Timer
Invested in the yardage book at the pro shop which is a must for the first time player. It's a course you have to select your club wisely or you will find yourself through the fairway or in the drink. Water and sand on almost every hole. Greens don't look the best but roll true and were fast. They were cutting the high rough around the course so didn't look the best, but still a very nice course.
A must play course
We’ve played here a few times a year for 3-4 years and are never disappointed. One time the pace of play was really slow and they do go to cart-path only at the slightest threat of rain. However, it’s a course that’s worth the trip. Conditions are always good to excellent. Layout is challenging and fun with lots of elevation changes and some nice risk-reward holes. Scenery is really nice, too, especially with the red rock backdrop on three of the holes. Back 9 much tougher than the front as water comes into play on multiple holes.
Thank you for playing at The Links! We are glad you enjoy your time here and look forward to seeing you soon!
Disappointed for such a nice course
What happened to the golf ethics? Divots were everywhere on the fairway and ball marks on the greens. For such a nice course, you would think the golfers that play there are not beginners or without good golf ethics. The course layout are very nice and challenging. I hope the staff will remind the golfers to take care of the divots and ball mark, Else the course will go downhill.
Thank you for playing at The Links! We are always making improvements to the course. We look forward to having you back!

Just a Great Course!
First time playing this year, and the course was in good condition. Some of the tee boxes were a little chewed up, and there was water in several bunkers; however, the fairways were in good shape, the rough was thick, and the greens were firm and rolling true. We had a little trouble getting there because Mason-Dixon Road was closed, and we got stuck behind line painting, but they held our tee time. Unfortunately, though, when we went into pay, there was a long line and only one register opened. Evidently, there was a Tuesday special and lots of people trying to check in. Not sure why only one check-in person (because there were two behind the desk), but it is what it is. We were rushed out to the tee and it took us a couple of holes to settle in to a good pace of play. We never held anyone up and was done in a little over 4 hours. I really like this course, and definitely recommend it.
Thank you for spending the day with us at The Links! We apologize for any inconvenience you had. We look forward to having you back for a positive experience!
Good Value and Fun layout
Staff was awesome, excellent layout. Greens were quite a bit slower than what we were used to. Course is interesting and very scenic. Lots of fun and would go back.
Thank you for the positive review! We look forward to having you back!
Thank you for the playing at The Links!
Great Condition Except for Some Bunkers
Greens were beautiful as were the fairways. Some bunkers had sand, some did not. Other than bunkers I would give a 5 star rating. Pace of play great. Bring friends back next week to play it.
Thank you for playing at The Links at Gettysburg! We look forward to having you back!
One of the better courses.
Played in a twosome. Was a little chilly, but expected that this time of year. Fairways were good, to early to be great. That will happen when it’s get warmer. Same for the greens, not great but good for this time of year. Overall today’s experience was very good. Had fun and and the course was a good challenge. Every time playing this course never had a bad experience. Would recommend playing this course to all golfers.
Thank you for playing at The Links! We enjoyed having you!
Always nice course
Great course, was under spring maintenance which is to be expected. Second time playing there and staff is amazing.
Thank you for playing at The Links! We are happy to hear you had a positive experience!
Cold April day
Layout of the course was great. Greens were aerated about 3 weeks earlier. Bumpy as expected. Was in a foursome. The day was about 42 degrees. Not too many people playing today. All that being said, it was a delight to play this course again, expected a challenge and it was. Yes definitely would recommend this course to everyone. The staff was very friendly. We all had a very good experience playing here today.
Interesting Layout
An interesting, attractive layout requiring course management. Surprising amount of elevation changes and blind shots. Still early in season with greens aeration so putting on sand. Some soft fairways and more water in play than expected. Bunkers in decent condition for early in season. Very friendly staff and value priced food. Will play again when course has greened out.
played bad, still had a nice time
This was my second time here, I played horribly, but I couldn't blame anything but me. Both times played the course was in great condition, and all staff was friendly. Great day, great early spring conditions, too many slices to make it a perfect day :P
Thank you for playing at The Links at Gettysburg! We are glad to hear you had a great experience and look forward to seeing you again!
windy fun
Course was wet windy but fair. Played long and tough pulled out a 44 on the front and 40 on the back not bad for windy and wet winter golf. Had not played the course since it first opened.
