Oaks National Golf Club

We had heard stories about this course from a few years ago. That it was a train wreck. Apparently it was purchased a year ago by Xude Hospitality and in talking to other golfers it’s LIGHT YEARS better than what it was. I can tell they are working to bring the fairways back. The greens were in pretty good shape for January and there’s a par 5 on the back 9 that is one of the nastiest (in a good way) I’ve ever played. I could definitely play this course again the next time we are in the Orlando area!

Was pleasantly surprised for the money that I paid for this time of year in Orlando. Greens were good not really fast but smooth. Not crowded and for around in just over 2 hours.

Since I first played Oaks National this summer the new management company is greatly improving the course conditions to match the challenging course layout. The greens are in terrific shape and run true and fairways were good to hit off of. The layout offers challenges for all player levels, a good test of golf! This is a great deal, especially as they continue to work on improving the course.

Tee boxes, sand traps, and greens were much improved.

We suggest putting grass seed mixed in with the repair sand in carts to help promote continual grass growth, especially on tee boxes.

I have played this course many times over the years. I have seen it in really bad shape and I have seen it in pretty good shape. Since the new ownership took over the greens and tea boxes are better. The area around the greens is in better shape too. Still need a lot of work in the fairways and rough. The car pass need to be upgraded as well. Overall, it’s a good value for the current price.

The course continues to show improvement. The rough is now manageable; the tee boxes have grass; most of the greens are in good shape and they all roll true; ball washers on every hole. Good and tasty food selection at the clubhouse at reasonable prices.

If you're a first time visitor or returning after a few months, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the overall improvements and course conditions.

Word to new management "don't price the course at a level that is not yet supported. Incremental price increases is better in the long term".

Recently renovated course, awesome greens and the fairways were fine. Would play again when in Orlando.

Course and facilities were better than I expected having read previous reviews regarding the condition of the course. I found the course to be a in excellent condition for a public course at the price that I paid.

I enjoyed the course, the layout was interesting with some challenging forced carries or you could bail out and settle for a bogey.

There were some blind shots ( first time playing the course)

It would be nice to have some indication of hidden hazards - a gps system with hole layout would be nice, maybe too expensive for a public course.

I will certainly be back to play again and with better course knowledge I am sure I will enjoy it even more.

Practise facilities were very good and convenient.

A little more variety in the coffee shop would be good.

All staff friendly and courteous.

I arrived early and practiced for a couple of hours before my round so it was a good full day of golf

Still under renovation but great value for the price. $45 rentals (tour edge). Course pretty empty and finished all 18 holes in 2 hours 15 mins by myself.

Played the course three days in a row. Got a hit deal price each day. The course was in great shape and the range was exceptional. The course layout is very nice. A lot of water. Had close call with a bald eagle.. awesome! New ownership is bringing course to life. Staff were courteous and can’t wait to play again on my next Florida trip.

I played nine holes here on Christmas Day. I was just going for the range but once I got there and saw play was open I decided to play nine. The course does need work and the layout is kinda confusing. I will say you can tell they are working on the course. I do not have anything bad to say about the course. I will just say I only paid $24 for nine with a cart. The course is very playable. The greens were ok except for a couple patches on some holes. I would play again and recommend.

The layout is very nice no gimmicky holes straight forward golf. The fairways were a little thin with grass in places. The rough was just tall enough to hide your ball so pay attention so you can find it. The greens putted well not fast but pretty smooth
