Providence Golf Club

One of the best courses I have played in Florida. The staff is great, the course is exceptional you can’t find a better course for the price, if you compare it to the other “ nice courses in the area” Providence is a steal at the prince!!! It truly is a hidden gem ! I will for sure make this a must play course every time I come back! And I have played all the Disney’s courses and the Orange County National, etc etc. Providence Golf Club is a must play !

The course is beautiful but difficult. It is very well kept, clean, fairways, tee boxes, and greens in great shape. Staff was very friendly. Pace of play is AWFUL however. We had a 9:28 tee time and by 2PM had only made it through 15 holes. The Ranger did his best but multiple large groups of slow golfers ruined the day for a lot of people. At one point the starter stepped away for something and 5 groups teed off on their own without checking in and by the 5th hole there were 6 groups backed up waiting to tee off on #5 while a slow foursome took their time and held everyone up. This completely ruined the experience compared to the price. By 2PM multiple groups were heading to the clubhouse and turning it in having to quit after 13-15 holes because it just wasn’t moving. Course is pretty, but it’s Florida, so plenty of other options. Won’t be back to this one.

Friendly staff. I had a 6:40 AM tee time, and they were ready to go. Course in great condition. Challenging, lots of water. Great experience.

Played Providence GC several years back and I am impressed with the upkeep of the course. It was in very good conditions, greens were in very good shape and the course played well. Enjoyed myself and will be returning for sure.

The fairways, roughs and bunkers were all immaculate making approach shots a breeze and saving yourself from a bunker not a total headache. They were aerating the greens when we were there, but for the price we paid, it was easy to ignore. Def recommend if you’re tired of playing your local city course that has a hard time keeping the course up.

This layout was great and the course condiltions were great. The pace of play was a little slow for a tee time prior to 8am. And there was confusion at the start. Tee times started at 6:30am and there were two big groups that block booked the first 8 or 9 tee times. I booked my tee time as a single thru Golfnow and it should have been blocked because there were 15 people in one of the groups. I arrived an the starter told me that he could send me off as a single in between the two large groups but I wouldnt be able to go through because they were playing a competition. He then came back and said there was a single that was in the tee time behind me and we could play together as a twosome in between the large groups. It took 4:20 to play as a twosome. Under the circumstances not terrible but had to wait on most every shot. The single that I got matched up with said he had to play the white tees so I said that is fine just to make it easier and keep things moving but I should have been playing 1 tee box behind that. Otherwise it was a great course and the staff was super helpful. I will definitely try to get back here the next time in the area.. Actually, this was terrible, don't go, I want it to be easy to get a tee time. :)

Once again this golf course didn’t disappoint. Had friends over from Scotland and they loved playing.

Providence is turkey a great track, so much land! A lot of water the greens are in fantastic shape! Bruce in the Proshop alongside Jerry, were very informative and great hosts! If you want to good golf test, Providence is definently a great track not far from the parks in Orlando. Creeks all over the course near greens made it tough to hit greens, with the wind blowing its a guessing game but trouble could strike any hole. Great staff great course! ⛳️🔥

The staff is great and the course is always well kept. The greens are fantastic and the overall is a 9.5 out of 10. The only think that needs improvement is the lines of where you can and can’t drive the cart. I understand near the greens, but not everyone is a pro, and sometimes need to go closer to the bushes and rough to find a poor shot. In my opinion the car locked down in a few places that were kind of unnecessary. Otherwise great course as usual and very open to enjoy!

Staff friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great. Lots of wildlife.Greens rolled true and the fairways were in good condition. Stay out of the rough and you’ll have a great day.

First time playing Providence. It needed the ranger to do his job. Pace of play was pretty slow. Always waiting for the group in front to tee off and wait to hit second shot. Looking around the entire course was backed up, not just the group in front of us. Fairways and greens were very good. Tee boxes were good enough. Paid $51 thru GolfNow and that's what this course is worth in my opinion.
