Providence Golf Club

If you are looking for a course south of Orlando and a little bit south of the Reunion area, this one is worth a visit. The pace of play was excellent. Conditions were good, despite the recent drought. Greens were good. Fairways were also good. Give it a try.

Staff were really welcoming unlike a few other courses played in the area. Thank us for choosing the course, we're polite and friendly at all times . Course is on good shape for the time of year .

I’ve played Providence a bunch in a the past but haven’t played there in about 4-5 years. I was pleasantly surprised to see how great the conditions were. Tees, fairways and green were great! Putts were rolling nicely. Pace of play was good and the folks in the shop and outside staff were super friendly. I’d definitely recommend this course. The only downside side was the restroom out on the course. It didn’t match the same vide the rest of the course did. But, will certainly be back to play again.

This is the 2nd winter I've spent a couple of months in this area. I play lots of courses-public and private. But Providence is definitely my default course. It feels like a friendly, neighborhood, course back home. It fits like an old shoe!

As much as I like this course, the programming of the carts GPS often restricts us to like areas that are not close to greens or wet areas... It really slows down once of play.

Also the price in the afternoon is way too expensive, and the worst part the time sheet is empty.

Come on Providence Management, time to review your pricing in my opinion, a full time sheet at $60 per player is better than an empty time sheet at $100. Just playing elsewhere these days and playing more golf elsewhere.

Great people who were friendly, helpful and courteous. Golf course is open on the front nine like a links course. The back nine was very picturesque. Good shape and excellent greens. Cart path only requirement was only disappointment.

Definitely would play again next time I come to Orlando.

I was very surprised and disappointed this time around at Providence. I’ve played this course a dozen times, mostly every time I come to Florida but I was surprised to see that the course has gone down hill. I usually rave about this course but it was not at all in good shape and the pace of play was absolutely terrible this time around. We were 5 hours 15 minutes, waiting over every single shot and keeping pace with the group ahead. We talked to the Ranger twice and he actually looked at our cart time on 18 and said “What happened with the pace of play?”… Like he didn’t know it was slow. Usually a great experience, but I won’t be back. I hope they can better maintain the course in the future, I like the layout.

Loved the course. Greens were great. Only thing that was an issue was the weather 10 degrees and 30 mph winds…brrr

However a group of 16 out before us followed by a FIVE (apparently approved by the pro). Always understood a 5 ball was a NO!

Tedious round. The ranger promised us at the second hole he would keep it moving but we never saw him again. 4 hrs 40mins for a relatively short course is disappointing

Played here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great layout, very pretty, friendly staff and would definitely play it again.

I have been in Florida for a couple of weeks now and played Providence twice. What an enjoyable experience the moment you arrive at the backdrop someone is there to greet you. The entire staff has been so friendly as far as the course itself. It’s in great condition. I love the layout and I will play here every chance I get

Very disappointing day at the course today. I must have been distracted by all the 5 star reviews and missed the fact that they book 8 minute intervals. Starter informed us about a lot of things, even mentioning that we would have a five some in front of us and they were told they needed to keep things moving, which I do think they did but an overbooked course led to a 5+ hour round. Ran into a cart path only hole on the front and when we made the turn we ran into the ranger and asked him if there were more on the back. Said only #10, but we asked if we could have the restriction taken off one of our carts. Said he’d go in and take care of it. Cart was never unlocked and there were at least 3-4 more holes on the back 9, That cart even got locked while riding on the cart path driving to the 18th tee. The other cart started beeping for no apparent reason about 100 yards out from the green. There’s more, but I’ll cut to the quick and recommend you find someplace else to play. Would have been more enjoyable burning $100 bill. Only positive was the young guy at the cart return was friendly and apologetic., even though none of what happened was his doing.

It’s on the golfers to keep up pace of play, but tee times 8 minutes apart just can’t happen. There are too many golfers out and multiple groups were waiting on tee boxes. As of 4:07pm we are on teeing off on hole 8 and we teed off at 1:52pm, 3 singles put together. I’m Canadian so it’s not like a rain check is going to do me any good. I was excited to play the course based on reviews but do not come here.

I wish someone would have warned me. Extremely slow. I quit after 6 holes. They stack up the tee times too tight. Avoid this course, way better options.

Group of 8 Canadians, first time playing and this course was great, wonderful layout, great conditions, can't wait to play in Feb 2026, already booked

Pulled a last-minute tee time after my playing partner bailed on me and decided to give this place a shot. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. The staff was great, the course was in excellent shape, and the overall experience was so good I ended up playing 36 holes. Fairways and greens were in terrific condition. I’ll definitely be back.
