Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Nice layout, good number of tee box choices. Course was in really good condition. HOWEVER, no one told me that the greens were aerated. I understand that this has to be done, but its also considerate to be told about it beforehand. So...if you want smooth greens I would wait a couple of weeks before playing here.

We have played here many times in the past but due to illness haven't done son in he last 3 years.

Course was in real good condition, greens were rolling well. Pace of play was also good. Staff as always were very pleasant.

Disappointed

Everything regarding the course was very good. The issue is the golf carts gps. The cart stops like 50 yards before the green. Makes for very long walks. There is no going to the ball to check in chipping it hitting a lob shot. They need to program the carts better. It was 94 out when we played. Walking to the elevated greens etc took its toll. We didn’t finish the round it was getting way too much. The group behind me also quit. When you pay to play that course you shouldn’t have to walk that far to and from the greens. There also was an issue at the resturant. Our order wasn’t done correctly. Waited 45 min. To get fish and chips. The fish was to be cod. We cut into the cod it was all watery and mush like. Sent it back basically decided to leave. The course is great. I’ll try it again. But if the carts are the same I won’t be back.
