Great Condition
My first time playing. Nice track, the greens were a pleasant surprise. I like fast, they didn't disappoint. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. We played 2 groups, 4.5 hour round on a Saturday is par for the course.
Course Conditions
Course Conditions are getting better every day still not 100% recovered but a lot better
very nice experience
Weather great in the 70s. Course in good shape for January. Visiting this week from up north and played 5 different courses and this one was the best deal of all. Will play again on our next trip,.
Surprising good!
I've played Remington before and had been leaning towards never playing there again, but I read some recent reviews and they were very positive so I wanted to check it out for myself.
They seem to have gotten some issues fixed and the course was in very good condition. The greens were nice and smooth and rolled true. The bunkers had what appeared to have been a mixture of dirt/sand, but they were also in good shape.
The only negative for me was a "member" group in front of me that I couldn't get through as a single. Since there was nobody behind me, I just hit 2-3 balls on each shot.
Busy Weekend Morning Golf
It’s been cold and you can tell people just needed to get out and enjoy the sun, play some golf. Had a tad to many golfers waiting to tee up, but it was all good.
Great
Great course great condition all 4 of us really enjoyed it, we played off the tips, best score -2 REALLY ENJOYED THANKS
Nice Course
It was our first time playing Remington Golf Course. The staff was very friendly. There was a five some on the first tee and the staff offered us to start on the back nine. The course was in good condition for this time of the year. The greens were good but they were fast. A nice variety of holes. A lot of water but not all of it is in play. They have four sets of tees so you can play to what ever is comfortable for your ability. We will definitely play here again. The price was great $20. I won't spend the high price for those fancy high price courses because my wife is just a beginner.
Good morning on the course
Course is in the best shape i have seen it since I started playing it several years ago. Greens are in good shape as are most of the tee boxes.
I was off early so really I had another single tee off before me, once he cleared on that firsdt hole he never held me up and no one was pushing me either and was able to play in 2.5 hours. The one hold up was that when i made the turn for the back nine a very slow pair of golfers had jumped on the course. They did wait at the 11th tee for me to play through so only a minor slow down. I'm sure that groups behind me also had to play through.
Ok, but ....
Some good, some bad.
While I checked in a nice cart staff employee drove and dropped off a cart to my wife unloading our equipment at our car in the parking lot. Thank you, but no mask. More on this in a moment.
The person at the pro shop desk was not wearing a mask for Covid as well which is in contravention of the course guidelines posted on the doors to the clubhouse. A most uncomfortable situation which gave me pause to wonder about how well, if at all, the carts had been disinfected.
The course fairways are wide and generous with lots and lots of roll. Mostly a good outcome despite the water hazards. The greens are more Velcro like and patchy so if you’re not lagging your putt up to 2’ from the pin your second putt is fair from assured.
From a strictly golfing point of view the course has no unwelcome surprises (blind shots) and is good value for the money. From a health and safety point of view, given the current Covid situation, the staff is quite tone deaf.
Remington Golf Course
Remington turned out to be quite surprising tee boxes in good shape greens were around at 10 not running too fast could be quicker
