Great day
Played this course the first time.
Fast Greens, great condition.
Looks easy on the first sight but is tricky to play at some point 😉
Would Play it every time again 👍
History revisited
The range was temporarily closed when we got there, but that was the only downside. Tee boxes were lush and distances were appropriate from tips to Sr to Jr. Carts have GPS with touch screen distance. The layout is mostly the same as it was during its PGA LPGA tournament days. Lots of water to make you think, but not too difficult if you play smart.
Overall, very enjoyable. We'll be back.
Great tra k
I would recommend this course for anyone. What a great track ,Shot makers course . Some holes require a golf shot. Others allow you to hot away. Unfortunately we played after heavy rains so it was wet. Greens would hold shots, and rolled true. I will definitely be coming back.
Walk in the pro shop to check in and there's a guy sitting back in the office. Looks out and says "Do you need something?" Well DUH!!!! I'd like to either check in or buy something. Thats common sense. Learn some customer service. Then I go out to the course and it looks like Barney Fife is the greens superintendent. The course condition is one of worst around. Seminole, Clearwater country club, Westchase, Dunedin all way way nicer. For $70 in the office season absolutely do not waste your money. Go elsewhere.
Consistent quality golf
A pleasure to play and the course always tests my game.
Horrible Pace of Play Management
I’ve never seen a worse job of managing the pace of play. There were 4 groups still waiting to tee off when our early morning tee time came up. We had to wait between every hole the entire round. 6 hour round of golf in 90+ degree weather is ridiculous. Literally won’t golf here again.
Good Course
The Greens had just been punched the first week of June, so they were not in the best shape. Overall, I think the course is a nice course and the staff are super. Good value for the money.
Aerification Alert would be nice
To not notify people the greens have been recently punched is pathetic.
Overpriced. Low Value. Don’t play here.
Don’t play Bardmoor. They just refuse to put any serious money into this course yet charge a premium rate. The course layout is excellent, the owner’s commitment to the course is zero. Every aspect of this course is low quality. The bunkers have no sand, the general maintenance of the course is extremely poor, the carts are beat up, and it has the feel of a course being intentionally neglected by its owners.
I’ve played this course for years and today will be the last time I ever play here. I’m done coming out and giving money to owner’s who don’t care. Weeds flourish on tee boxes and in fairways. This once-beautiful course is overgrown and has been allowed to deteriorate. Everything about it feels sloppy and unkempt.
The clubhouse is dirty and dated. Bathrooms, walls, furniture, everything needs to be updated completely. It’s like they did a bunch of stuff in the 1990s and then forgot about it.
Don’t play here. There are so many better courses available.
