Seemed to be overbooked with a slow pace and the greens were slow and had weeds on them
Great Layout
Tee boxes were a little chopped up but the rest of the course was in good shape!!
Do Not Play Here - 6 Hour Rounds are Normal
This is the last time our group will play here. We tried several times, and they send groups out every 8 minutes - jam packed at hole 1 and beyond. They do not issue refunds, and the head pro there is arrogant when dealing with players. Truly one of the worst courses around. Not worth the money. Not worth the time.
Bad pace of play
Weekend round took 5.5 hours in the heat. And the food shack at the turn was closed. It felt pretty brutal
Great day in the Rain
Course was in great shape. had to get the umbrella out several times. Greens were in very gook shape and putted true.
The Hot Dog at turn was good
Pace of play was terrible. Holes regularly backed up with the two groups ahead of us. Not a ranger in sight. Course has potential but not sure why tee boxes were so neglected. Definitely an unfortunate round. Price to value not there.
Hot dogs at turn were awesome though.
Great day
Played this course the first time.
Fast Greens, great condition.
Looks easy on the first sight but is tricky to play at some point 😉
Would Play it every time again 👍
History revisited
The range was temporarily closed when we got there, but that was the only downside. Tee boxes were lush and distances were appropriate from tips to Sr to Jr. Carts have GPS with touch screen distance. The layout is mostly the same as it was during its PGA LPGA tournament days. Lots of water to make you think, but not too difficult if you play smart.
Overall, very enjoyable. We'll be back.
Great tra k
I would recommend this course for anyone. What a great track ,Shot makers course . Some holes require a golf shot. Others allow you to hot away. Unfortunately we played after heavy rains so it was wet. Greens would hold shots, and rolled true. I will definitely be coming back.
Walk in the pro shop to check in and there's a guy sitting back in the office. Looks out and says "Do you need something?" Well DUH!!!! I'd like to either check in or buy something. Thats common sense. Learn some customer service. Then I go out to the course and it looks like Barney Fife is the greens superintendent. The course condition is one of worst around. Seminole, Clearwater country club, Westchase, Dunedin all way way nicer. For $70 in the office season absolutely do not waste your money. Go elsewhere.
