General
Cart paths and bridges a bot if a mess and need rebuild and new paving
It's a pretty good course. Not many in the area for competition so they charge a bit more. Greens roll nice. Most of the layout is what you see. There are 3 holes that seem to be a automatic double but it's fun.
Good course, used to host Tour events
I always enjoy playing at Bardmoor. Tee to green the conditions are fair if not better. The greens are usually firm and quick which is nice. This recent visit some were bumpy, but it wasn't bad. Weather probably had an effect on the conditions and especially on the pace of play. I took my time as a single and played in three hours or less.
Very fair course for women and men.
We thought the course was in great shape. The greens rolled nicely. Service people all very friendly. Especial the cart gal with her beautiful Labrador ! We will be back! Enjoy.
Decent course for what we paid
We had a nice time at Bardmoor where there are faster then average greens on this time of year in this area. The front line layout was a little on the boring side. The back nine had a way more interesting layout. There was no sand in the cart to fix our divots. Some sand traps had no rakes. All the sand traps could use about a ton each to 3 tons each more sand I bet. The friendly cart lady must have come around five times or more.
We had heard that the owner of the golf course wanted to put houses on it but had a issue that prevented that, at least for now.
All in all we had a nice time there.
expensive and you'll wait on every shot!!!
ALL of these reviews have one thing in common and thats the slow play. It starts with the course over booking the rounds and then having you wait 30 minutes past you tee time to go out. They can't blame the weather when its sunny and 72 degrees out. Weekend play is a definite NO GO! We had a tee time for 1145am and didn't go out til close to 1230!!! The staff at the front desk move people like cattle for the most part and there's little time to speak to anyone behind the counter. We got hit for $115 and then they tell us its $7 if you want range balls!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! When you get to first tee there will be at least 5 foursomes if not more, since they spread groups out in 6 minute increments. This is also praying that you get a cart since we had to wait to get one since they ran out of them
The course was in good shape but not worth the $115 they charged us!! Lots of bare spots on the course but I will give them that the greens were spectacular.
I would look elsewhere unless you like sitting in your cart for 10 minutes between shots.
1230 we finally went out and we got off the course 5 1/2 hrs later. We rushed to get the last 2 holes in!!!
Slow play very frustrating
Almost 3 hours to play 9 holes with no one moving slow players along. They pack this course so just be prepared if you.play here for long waits and frustration. Course conditions ok, greens are a bit bumpy.
