Good golf
Not the best course in the area but it's playing very well. The fairways are decent, plush with not many faults. The greens rolled great, fast and true.Overall a big B+.
So Slow
Course was nice enough, good layout and ok condition for the time of year. We couldn’t take the pace of play. 3:15 to play 9, then about 30 minutes on 10 and we left. We started around 12:00 on a Saturday, no ranger on the course and the tee times were set 5 minutes apart. There was a 7some playing 2 groups in front of us. Not a fun time, basically awful.
nIce course
Greens are very fast but true. Pace was ok, lots of two-somes playing. Tee boxes need some work..
Definitely would play gain.
Our Fav. Course in the area
We've Bardmore. It's our favorite layout in the area. Always in great shape. Greens were running fast.
Solid course
Played with my regular group of a dozen degenerate golfers. The staff were great. Very friendly. Cart girl hit us once on the front 9 and twice on the back. We were held up by 4 "Bros" who couldn't hit longer than a hundred yards off the tee but insisted on playing from back tees. I remember when I had my first beer, too. They got slower with each beer. Ended up with a 5 hour round. The condition of the course was very good. Fairways were cut better than some greens I've been on. The greens are fast. Pay attention on down hill putts. A beautiful day for slow golf. Would play again.
Nice course
Greens fast and in good shape. Very friendly staff.
Solid golf course. Good layout. Good be better marked for hazards. Would play again
Bardmoor
I was expecting more from the course since it hosted professional events in the past. The pace of play was terrible, no ranger to try and speed it up. NIce staff
Great course tough greens
This course was in great shape and the greens were super fast which I like. Need good accuracy on tee shots or your in trouble.
Good public course
This is a good public course that gets a lot of play. Challenging enough that it's not a typical muni course. I'm a low handicap and I found it challenging enough not to book me. I'm pretty sure I used every club in my bag playing from the gold tees. The black tees would be a good challenge. I will be back!
STAY AWAY
Six hours for a round of golf. When I called the shop to get a ranger on the people ahead of us, they told us it was busy. Golf should not take six hours. Don’t value money over people’s experience. Horrible. Stay away if you know what’s good for yourself.
Snails Pace
There was a stack of groups waiting to tee off on one. Only plus of waiting was the snack shack right next to the tee. Good hot dogs and cold beer.
Pace of play was painfully slow for the first 9. It did loosen up a bit after the turn. I think some groups were just giving up.
The course is an OK typical Florida course. Flat with quite a bit of water. Conditions were spotty, lots of sandy areas where grass should be growing, and the greens were a bit slow.
We were staying quite close to the course which is why we picked it, but there are lots of great options if you get out of town a bit further.
Major disappointment
No notification when I booked that a tournament was being played in front of us. Pace of play abhorrent. No starter. No Marshall.
