About
The Champions Club at Summerfield is an 18-hole championship course ingeniously routed through a briny wetland three miles from the Atlantic. This Tom Fazio design meanders through natural marshes and vegetation. Its 6,800 yards from the tips and each hole features multiple tees for players of all skill level.
Summerfield has received a commendation from the Audubon Society. You will encounter plenty of birds and wild life at this environmentally sensitive course.

Course Conditions
I have played this course every week for much of the season and found it to be in good condition. The last time I played, it was very dry, with entire areas of grass brown on many holes and tee boxes in rough condition. When I finished my round I asked if the drought had an effect on the current conditions and also asked about the watering. The reply given was that the grass was going into 'dormancy.' Must be something unique here because I have not found the same amount of brown areas on other courses in the area.

The greens were excellent and the course was in very good condiiton.
Great 18
Played from the white tees. The course was a little dry and therefore firm. Drives ran out an extra 10-15 yards which was great. Approach shots hit a little thin were gone. Played to the front of greens with front and middle pin positions and middle for pins that were back. Very fast greens but true. Bunkers were soft and required accurate swings. Overall I would play the course anytime but wish for some rain to soften things up a bit.
There is dry and then there is the Champions club
Although one might enjoy the extra yardage provided by exceptionally dry fairways the same can't be said about the greens. In order to hold the greens I would suggest your aim point to be about 10 yards short and let it bounce on.

Final Round
We have been playing here since November pretty much every week and have enjoyed every round. Summerfield is a challenging, fun course. Staff members are super friendly!
Great Condition and Value!
The staff was great and the course was in fantastic shape. We had a great time and would highly recommend playing this course.
Better be accurate
Hot day. Course was extreamly dry. If you miss the fairway or the green you are in trouble. The course makes you pay for inaccurate shots. Enjoyed the layout. Greens were fast.
Fast Greens
Great layout and fast greens when we played it. Difficult but fair. I would absolutely play again.
Great value! Beautiful Course
What great way to celebrate my birthday! Just a beautiful course without a ton of houses boxing it in. I felt like we were golfing in a nature preserve!
