Stonecrest Golf Club

The course is an excellent course to play. There are elevation changes on several holes, the greens were in decent shape and have some break to them, and most of the tee boxes were in really good shape. The about one-third of the holes have a water obstacle to tend with. On many holes the course offers a real challenge if you get off into the rough; it reminds of the thick rough found on some of the Scotland courses. If you stay in the fairways the course will offer many opportunities for pars and birdies. I definitely will be back to play again.

The course had closed the back nine for maintenance and the first four greens on the front nine were heavily sanded not to mention all the new sod placed around them. Should never been allowed to book a tee time without being notified of the course conditions

The course was in good shape and provided plenty of challenges for an average golfer. The only negative that I would say is that I didn't realize until we had checked in that half the course was closed for maintenance however I plan to try the course again when in the area. Great course for the money.

Stonecrest has been steadily improving over the past several years. Greens were in good shape if you can overlook the fact they were replacing the collars. This was not a problem for us. Fairways were also in good condition. We had to take a break between 9 and 10 due to thunderstorms but this is Florida summer weather.

9 holes were closed for renovation so back nine played twice. Still a pleasant experience for the money.

Tees and fairways are not maintained very well and the greens were rough with dead spots surrounding each one. Huge contrast with the last time played (6 months ago).

Course under renovation was not made aware of this at time of booking.

Had to play back nine twice, then had to reroute second part because large group was placed ahead of us.

We played holes 10-18 then had to jump to 14 and play through 18, then back to 10-13 to finish the round.

Poorly organized.

This course needs a little TLC! However it was a fun experience greens are a work in progress. Fairways are ok, staff very friendly. Would most likely be back on golf now hot deals, not worth the full price in my opinion.

Everything was absolutely amazing course layout, amenities etc… CONS nothing was mowed! The tee boxes were overgrown the rough was exaggerated overgrown. They seem to have been fixing the greens also cuz it was dead on the outer brim of the greens. Hedges next to bathrooms were overgrown into cart path weeds everywhere.

Nobody in front of or behind us. Great pace Took our time.. A few holes had tee boxes that were grossly over grown. Greens in okay condition.

Only got to play back not holes and paid for the 18 hole course.

We had a great round with great views! The course was in good condition especially considering recent lack of rain!

Staff has always been great. Course was in pretty good condition. Overall great day.

It has been a.long time since I played, and this course has lost its luster. Fairways, rough, greens all look the same. Full of weed patches and dirt.

Speed of play was great-because nobody else was playing.

Save your money and go somewhere else!

Just last week the course was in so much better conditions. Very disappointing.

Years ago, this course was maintained much better. Standing on the tee box you could not tell where the fairway ended and rough began weeds, crab grass and dead spots all over the place. I have no doubt, that it is just a matter of time before this course shuts down. Speed of play was excellent because there were only one other car in the parking lot and we only saw one group on the course the entire round. I guess everyone else already knows about the course conditions.

It was cheap, but we got what we paid for!
