Staff was great choices were great food and prices all great but the course was really rough

The tee boxes and greens were in great shape. The fairways were cut just fine

We played this last year and the greens and fairways are much improved. This is especially noteworthy considering the lack of rain we’ve had. Staff is excellent and you can tailor your challenge with the different tees. Only niggle - no easy way to get something to eat or drink at the turn.

Most of the greens were very good while a few had some bad spots needing repair. This was not a serious problem though. Some fairways were a little sparse so we took some liberties where warranted. I like the course as it has some very interesting holes. This makes it fun to play and more challenging as well. Definitely worth going back to play again.

Excellent value on a hot deal. Course would naturally benefit from some rain (not unlike everywhere else in the area) however greens were in very nice shape. Very friendly gentleman in the clubhouse gave us the nickel tour of the course as we were paying since we had not played here before. Enjoyed it so much we needed up playing 36 holes! Par threes make great use of the water and 18 is a beautiful finishing hole.

This was the worst conditioned course I have ever played. The greens, the rough, the Fairway were all bad. Dry a lot of weeds. It wasn't awful day of golf. Someone needs to figure out how to take care of this course.

I was very impressed with the very interesting layout of the course. It was very fun, challenging, but not too challenging. Some of the best maintained sandtraps in this area.

The course was as well maintained as it could considering the lack of rain. We could have played 18 in under 3 hours if other players were considerate.

The rangers were no help in speeding play.

This being said we finished in just over 4 hours…. We waited on EVERY shot. The group before us was part of the issue, but it did appear that play was just not moving.

Maybe too many groups, or residents that felt no pressure to move along??

Have been playing here for several months using the hot deals, the greens are getting better each time, fast enough but controllable. The layout is fun, but several holes are just copies of other holes, like several par threes. Always have a great time at Stonecrest.
