Stonecrest Golf Club

This is a surprising course in that it is so hilly which is quite unique in central Florida. Well laid out this course is challenging and fun. The greens were in good condition and fast! Fairways were, in most places, well maintained with good grass and well cut. Definitely will play here again.

If you want a challenge come to the golf course and see for yourself, stonecrest is beautiful hilly and well worth your time to play.

Great deal on a vastly improved course from last time I played.

The person working today was rude. The course itself is in dodo shape. A lot of areas on the fairways that need work. The greens were ok but still has sand on them which made interesting. It’s an ok layout but I am positive we won’t be going back.

Played many times, fun course just wonder where the other players are. It seems like we are the only ones playing, but that's great for us - no one pushing us to hurry. We played in less than four hours.

I do not understand why no one is playing this course! It is in Amazing shape And you can't find better greens anywhere...I play at the links at spruce creek south Which is across the street because I live there and their greens are horrible... And their fairways are horrible compared compared to stonecrest.... This course is way underrated and deserves more play and better ratings.... We played in just under 3 hours. Also, compared to a 5 hour round at The links at spruce creek, Where they do not let faster players play through...... I know I am tired of the slow rounds at where I live, So I'm going to be playing more at stonecrest.

Love the Lay-out of this course. Haven’t played there since May due to poor conditions. Decided to try it again and the course has improved, still not what it should be or could be. Practice area is neglected. Used to have friendly staff, not so much anymore. I guess for the price it was acceptable.

The course is nice. Golf carts are gas powered, check engine light went on and off randomly throughout the round. Fairways and tee boxes are a little rough. Driving range had relatively new turf mats to tee off of. Hole 11 was by far the favorite.

The course is an excellent course to play. There are elevation changes on several holes, the greens were in decent shape and have some break to them, and most of the tee boxes were in really good shape. The about one-third of the holes have a water obstacle to tend with. On many holes the course offers a real challenge if you get off into the rough; it reminds of the thick rough found on some of the Scotland courses. If you stay in the fairways the course will offer many opportunities for pars and birdies. I definitely will be back to play again.

The course had closed the back nine for maintenance and the first four greens on the front nine were heavily sanded not to mention all the new sod placed around them. Should never been allowed to book a tee time without being notified of the course conditions

The course was in good shape and provided plenty of challenges for an average golfer. The only negative that I would say is that I didn't realize until we had checked in that half the course was closed for maintenance however I plan to try the course again when in the area. Great course for the money.

Stonecrest has been steadily improving over the past several years. Greens were in good shape if you can overlook the fact they were replacing the collars. This was not a problem for us. Fairways were also in good condition. We had to take a break between 9 and 10 due to thunderstorms but this is Florida summer weather.

9 holes were closed for renovation so back nine played twice. Still a pleasant experience for the money.

Tees and fairways are not maintained very well and the greens were rough with dead spots surrounding each one. Huge contrast with the last time played (6 months ago).
