Good and getting better
Spring conditions are making nice improvements to the turf at Stonecrest. Since this is "transition time" for turfgrasses in Florida, expect to see continuing improvements. Course design is nice, with plenty of elevation changes not typical of a Florida layout. Pace of play was excellent; saw only one other single individual playing the course that morning. Can't beat that!
Improvements made!
There's still some work to be made, especially on the greens. But from what l heard there's new owner's, who are looking to improve the golf course even more. Looking forward to coming back and enjoy a pleasurable golf course.

Great course, good layout
Booking online was convenient. Course was in very good shape. Staff was friendly and got us off on time. Overall, a great round of golf.

Nice day
Course is an average condition for this time of year. What you would expect. Played with a nice couple. Pace was good and had a fun time. Greens are a little inconsistent. That’s my only complaint.

Rain delay
Our tee time was at noon, however we had rain delayed,so at the pros shop they charge us a extra 10 dollars each players ,we start at almost 1 o'clock, the course was completely empty

Fun course...
My wife and I played the course for the first time on 3/13. We went out early on a cold morning. Overall condition was good with the greens being a little fluffy. Traps were not raked, but the traps and green condition was probably due to several days of rain that proceeded our round. We liked the layout, the par 3s especially. Pace of play was not an issue...we were 2nd off and our 3some passed the first group.

A thunderstorm moved through just as we were about to tee off, but the course was still very playable. Greens were still firm and playable. Course drained well and we enjoyed the round.

I have played this course off and on for years, the course has suffered some tough times over the years, the greens are having some difficulty right noe, hopefully they can correct them soon.

Much Improved Conditions!
The pin placements on some of the greens were ridiculously installed. Maybe the individual doesn't play golf at all!

Greens need major help
Some Greens were like putting on concrete, with barely any grass and what there was extremely spongy. Won't return until hear about major improvements.

a great layout
course conditions were better a month ago.However a new owner is taking over with hopefully deeper pockets and a little more savy about properly pricing the course for the area.Last owner thought that management should not cater to members.Who did he thinks keeps the course alive after the snowbirds go back north.
