excellent layout
Greens have been aerated twice in the last five years.Some new grass is coming in nicely just need to address bare areas and smooth out greens for a more consistent roll.The course is good value for twenty dollars or less.The owner is trying hard to fix a course that was very badly run down after the capralletti ownership who never put any money or effort into maintaining course.The fairways and approaches are the best they have been in the last several years.Definitely need to keep working on greens and need to lower price to re-introduce the public to what was once a great golfing experience.

Overall conditions improved
Don't know why after mowing the greens they would leave piles of grass clippings on the putting surface. That was tacky!

Golf course is coming back really well. Super staff and pro. New golf carts. Greens really coming along well. Good value.

Golf Now mistake or golf course mistake.
Booked a 7:37 tee time through Golf Now. When we arrived we were told that Golf Now made a mistake and that we couldn't play because of a tournament they were having.
They said we could play in an 8:30 shotgun, but we declined. I heard one other person had also booked and was denied play.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
So Much Better
Last year I wouldn't suggest anyone playing this course, now I would definitely recommend playing Stonecrest. The fairways are on a par with most local courses as are the greens. All the courses in the area need rain in the worst way. We'll be back to play here soon.

Sad but true
A really nice layout but most of the greens are are shot and the tees, fairways and rough are bare and or patchy. The greens are bare in many places along with aeration plugs. The rough is a mixture of grasses or bare spots.

If I had known the Greens were being treated , holes and white powder, I wouldn't have booked...Next time I'll call before booking with 'Golf Now'

Greens were just aerated and sanded but it was a great value. Course is wide open. For Florida, the back 9 is very hilly.

The fairways are decent and I noticed work on the sand traps. The greens are a bit suspect and have been for years. They are hard and drainage has always been a problem. This causes multiple issues. When there is insufficient moisture you have issues. When you have too much such as in the rainy season in Florida, you have a problem. Especially when the drainage is poor. You are playing catchup to keep them moist then keep them dry! :)

Early morning round
Cheap green fees, a good place to practice your game. Low scores would be tough the greens are rough. It is in playable condition and the price is right. I really like the layout and will come play again.

Great value for a decent course!
For $25, I’d definitely play this course again. No, it’s not the nicest course, but it’s far from the worst. Overall it was in good shape! Cheaper and less busy than a lot of the other courses nearby.

Condition of the Course is Problematic
Stonecrest could be an outstanding course. But it is not, because of the condition of the course. The tee boxes are frequently not level and have weeds and even fire ants. The fairways have lots of weeds and ants are always a danger wherever your ball lands. The greens are usually brown and rough. The layout of the course is beautiful, but it has not been cared for properly for a long time. The staff is friendly enough, but they do not practice masking for the pandemic which is a problem. because there is plenty of covid in the area.

Stonecrest needs water
The course needs work. Greens are burnt out and bumpy and fairways have very little grass.
We waited for the group ahead of us on every hole.
