Stonecrest
Tuesday is Lady's day and the tee time sold to me was useless. After 40 minutes -- while the ladies toured by to finish - they must have had a large turnout -the pro sent us and others waiting -off on designated holes so we could get going. Quit after 14 holes because the ladies were still clogging the course and having a great time .
Essentially a coordination problem since the number of ladies who showed up was unknown earlier.

It was a glorious day of weather! Played with two brothers from The Villages. Enjoyed it very much. Nice guys. Course conditions need improvement drastically. Because the course layout is wonderful, more time and money need to be invested in this course. Very dry and greens need a lot of work. I hope they decide to fix it up. Enjoy playing here.

Greens
I played the course last year when I was down from Ohio and the greens was in pretty good shape this year the greens was terrible same as the greens at lady Lakes golf course
Funny you say the greens are as terrible as Lady Lake golf course. They are owned by the same person.

Not Impressed
We told the lady in the pro shop that we were first timers. On the course I had to use the restroom and they were locked. After nine holes it was very cold so I wanted a cup of coffee. I asked the lady if there was coffee and she said she didn’t make any because she didn’t drink it. Also I told them about the locked bathroom and she said oh the key on the cart unlocks the door. Wish she would have told me that when I paid her. I would not recommend this course due to its condition and their lack of customer service!!!

Not up to double bogey
Beautiful day, great club house staff, fun and helpful starter, and then it was all down hill. The greens were some of worst I have played all winter here in the Lady Lake area. Many with over 25% sand, many hare to find a good path to putt. The tee boxes were hard and about 50% of the grass missing. The fairways were better than the rest, lots of carry on all shots as they were dry and hard. Rough,what grass was growing was long. It started out with a very bad green on number one, and it really never got better. Very very dry conditions, seemed like they had no water available to sprinkle the course? Should have warned us before we played of the course condition, we would not have played.

I keep trying hoping that the course will make a turn around.
In fall meet the new head of maintsnce . Talked a good line but understand that he was let ago .
I’m a snow bird so I’ll check back in this fall but might never come back

great time with friends
we have played here many times, we enjoy the layout and some holes are just so mush fun!! Number 10 has to be played just right - be smart about your shots. The greens and tee boxes were not in the best shape, but summer is coming and the grass will grow in.

Great Fun, Especially #10
On the 10th hole, Caleb, one of the Pro's here, hit my 2nd shot to the green with a 260' carry over the water. It was on the green, about a 300' shot on the line with his 3 wood. It cost me $5, but money well spent for a great experience. Five bucks for a birdie, priceless.

Great design, needs better greens keepers
The layout is great, but the fairways, greens, and tees all need work. Friendly staff and the carts are nice.
