Great Layout
Course has a great layout, good up and down.
Nice layout with rolling hills in fairways. Downsides are greens have grassy spots / sand spots - and you can see that they are getting ready to update multiple traps.
Loved par 3 shots over water. I will 100% be back to play again later in season.
Nice track for the money
Traps were a little riff, a few bad spots on some greens. Overall had a good time with boys.
great time playing
We had a great time playing, we had four and there was no one else on the course that we saw - don't know why? The fairways were fine, grass under the ball, tee boxes were level and fine, greens ran true even with all the goose grass. Without the weeds, the greens would be great, fun playing the roll and undulations. Easy to kiill goose grass - just some foramsulforan (revolver) with two applications. Sencore would do it too but more risky. I don't know why more people don't play this fun track, I will be back soon.
Great layout. Course conditions are improving. Well worth the money.
Coming Back
Stonecrest is on the mend. Looks better then has for awhile. Keep repairing the course. It has a nice layout.
Some places are a little rough
Sand traps need a lot of work as do the tee boxes. Recently aerated the greens so they were bumpy. A hand full of the greens had large dead patches and could be lost without some additional attention. I’m moving to the area and hoped that this would be one of the courses I would play a lot. May have to rethink this if conditions don’t improve.
Getting Better!
This is the second time I have played this course this summer...it's getting better!
The staff is obviously working on the condition of the course to make it better for all.
Weeds Galore
Both the greens and fairways were full of weeds causing the ball to bounce all the way from tee box to the flag on the greens.
Great value for your money
The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it the new owners are taking great care of the course and putting money into it. The layout is awesome the course is super fun to play
