Fun course
Fun course but couldn't even buy a bottle drink. Hole 10 was under water on golf cart path and they did a very sorry job of making it passable with a pallet. We got stuck on it and one person got leg injury helping get cart off of pallet. Will play more this year though.
Great Course
New name but better experience. Tees, fairways and greens all in great shape. Food and atmosphere in the clubhouse was great.
Holding up well
Greens, tees and traps are pretty good for this time of year. Fairways are sparse, so expect to roll them over to preferred lies. One pond overflowing, causing the cart path to be underwater. Well designed course, fun to play.
Good course to play with challenges
Played here before, fairways a little rough in some areas but overall playable. T times are tight with snowbirds here and of course green fees have gone up. Some renovations going on in the clubhouse so did not use this time. On the 10th hole play a colored ball or pay attention where yours drops! It is parallel to the driving range and you risk losing your ball.
Would recommend this course to others.
Greens are 100% better
New owners are going to make this a premiere course again.
Great experience
Great service, great value, excellent rental clubs. Would definitely recommend.
Always Interesting
Nice design, plenty of elevation changes, no two holes alike. Course is in decent shape for the winter months. Greens roll true and tees, traps are just fine. A few thin areas in the fairways, so play "winter rules" and roll your ball over. Good vale for the money.
A lot of work required.
I am rather disappointed with this course. The fairways were in poor condition, with at least one half of the grass being dead. Most of the greens had bad spots with no grass. I will say that the greens are challenging and the pin were placed in bad spots were avoided and rolled well. This course could be great but a lot of work needs to be done. The layout is good but the condition of the course is poor. We won't be back until conditions vastly improve.
Could be better
The course was in average shape. Lots of bare spots an the fairways and greens. The tee boxes were the best part of the course, traps ok too. Enjoyed the layout, especially with the starting and finishing holes and the challenging par 3's. The bar was closed due to a health emergency, and there was limited drinking water, but plenty of restrooms. Overall, it was fun and a decent deal for the price point.
Tough in the wind
Good pace of play. Course is in decent shape despite some bare areas in fairways. Still some flooded spots from the hurricane. Nice challenging course at a great price
Consistency
Unfortunately the “Review Title” above is my life long pursuit on the golf course. However, the above title does describe the overall ambience this golf course. I have played this course on numerous occasions. Each time, this course’s conditions have been consistently good at a minimum, especially the greens which roll true. The “mulligan” for this course, which brought through no fault of “their/its own” was attributed to a recent hurricane that impacted the area. Even then, the nine holes that were playable met the consistent standards established by course management. Oh yeah, the staff is congenial and very helpful.
CKF
The three of us played this course for the first time and loved it.
This is the first time we played this course and would come back again. We played from the white tees and the yardage is 5500 yards. our best players drives between 200-210
Are 84 year old playing from the gold tees said it was absolutely perfect for him. call number one in the hole number 18 are the hardest and very challenging for us but we like them nonetheless. The whole layout is tricky on either hole two or three or you can’t tell where the green is so we played it a second time.
We like this course as well as monarch, of which it is comparable to this course. we prefer this course to our home course, which is cranes roost at Plantation Of Leesburg
