Awesome Day!
Well worth your time to play this course. It’s under new management and the facilities and golf course are really coming together. The greens are in good shape and fairways are catching up. Water drainage is still an issue on a few holes, but the course layout makes up for it. We really enjoy playing here and will be back soon.
Renovations
The course has new owners and they are really working on the course and the restaurant. Really looking forward to the finished product.
Broad Stripes
Fairways could use some more grass. But was told by folks I played with, that the club is putting some money back into the course and its getting better. Also told the club switched the front & back nines, for what its worth. Greens were pretty quick. I'd play again when the fairways fill in.
Needs some work
The course has very sparse fairways, but the greens and tee boxes are good.
Keeps getting Better
First off even though it’s also a Par 5 it’s a little easier of a first hole as they have flipped the front and back nines around and I think that was a great idea. Don’t get me wrong the 1st is a Par 5 with OB on right and trouble to the left and then onto a a par 3 island green for #3 but now the 10th hole, formally the 1st can break a round early so glad to see it later in the round ! The work they are and have been putting into the course and clubhouse are really paying off. Fairways still need to come along some as they will this spring so just play “winter rules” and you will be fine. The Ranger not only “ranges” but also is out there fixing the pitch marks on the green to ensure they stay in good shape also ! This is my favorite course to play that close by but also to watch come back into great shape !
Fun course
Fun course but couldn't even buy a bottle drink. Hole 10 was under water on golf cart path and they did a very sorry job of making it passable with a pallet. We got stuck on it and one person got leg injury helping get cart off of pallet. Will play more this year though.
Great Course
New name but better experience. Tees, fairways and greens all in great shape. Food and atmosphere in the clubhouse was great.
Holding up well
Greens, tees and traps are pretty good for this time of year. Fairways are sparse, so expect to roll them over to preferred lies. One pond overflowing, causing the cart path to be underwater. Well designed course, fun to play.
Good course to play with challenges
Played here before, fairways a little rough in some areas but overall playable. T times are tight with snowbirds here and of course green fees have gone up. Some renovations going on in the clubhouse so did not use this time. On the 10th hole play a colored ball or pay attention where yours drops! It is parallel to the driving range and you risk losing your ball.
Would recommend this course to others.
Greens are 100% better
New owners are going to make this a premiere course again.
