Stonecrest Golf Club

I could not believe that there were not more golfers out there. Greens were excellent, fairways above average for the area. Had a great time and played in 3 1/2 hours. Will definitely be back!

Apparently the course and restaurant have new management. Extremely friendly and I hope they do well moving forward. Played back 9 twice due to course reseeding. Very nice layout and course was in good shape. Will definitely visit again.

A 3some in front of us played very slow. We waited on each shot. There was a ranger on the front 9 and another on the back 9. We spoke with both of them about the slow play. Nothing was done and although we saw both rangers from a distance, they never got close enough to speak to us about a solution or explanation. So, why have rangers?

everything was good but the gentleman at the counter was EXCELLENT

The course could be great but it needs some work. A few holes still have water and the fairways need work. The bathrooms on the course are filthy.

Tee Boxes and Greens are in good shape. Starter was good about telling us about fairways work in progress.

Yes keep on working on them, this will be nice golf course, in a year or so. For the money we paid will play again.

I play quite a bit of Golf and fortunately on some Championship courses, Since we couldn’t get on the Villages courses we booked this on GolfNow. We really enjoyed Broad Stripes. The layout is unique , each hole a little different,surprisingly with changes in elevations I didn’t expect. Lots of false front approaches with smallish greens to add to the challenge.

The pace of play might not be to everyone’s liking, especially the group behind us although we finished in under 4 hours. (hope they got to that fire okay)…

The course conditions were fine considering all the rain and weather this Fall.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The facility that I was able to use was clean and in great shape. But best of all the course was well maintained even after our hurricane. All four of us really enjoyed our day. Thank you.

Course has a lot of water still since the hurricane.

Great layout and other than the flooded fairway on 4 it’s in very good shape. The bunkers need to be tended to.

Overall course is in good shape and getting better each time I play. They are putting in the work on areas that needed it and it shows with improvements from week to week. Some fairways still a little rough but play “winter rules” and you will be fine. This has quickly become my favorite course for the cost and layout and outstanding staff that is trying to improve this course in every way possible !
