My go to
For the value of your of $45( Im rounding up just a hair) its a great course thats pretty well maintained with better than average greens. One green in particular is plagued with other grass clumps but they compensate for it on that one by keeping it nice and tight. They try. The staff is very friendly and will you out with any questions. The Marshals are ever present making sure the pace is good. For around here its honestly one of the best courses for your money, and its a bit lower than sometime of the others around here.

Always enjoy Lake Forest. Greens rough and slow today...perhaps due to end-of-season changes.
Played this course for the 2nd time. Lots better condition than the 1st time in Oct 21.
Big slowdown!
On a busy Friday afternoon, for whatever reason, a 6-person scramble was allowed by course management to play and hold up everyone on the back nine...not good.
Nice layout
Fun, short course with varying elevation changes. The greens are in good condition overall. Fairways are also in good condition. The course was a little damp, which is understandable considering the area's rainfall recently. It was a nice change from other courses that the bermuda rough was actually long enough to allow the ball to settle and offer a penalty from the fairway lie. This was my first time playing this course but I'll definitely make the 1.5 hour drive to return again. The Par-3's are some of the best around the area.
Labor day
Friendly proshop. Diving range was irons only due to the amount of rain we've had. Greens were the best I've seen them. Saw the cart girl one time. Always a tough course layout no matter how many times you have played. Maybe not the nicest course around but for the price you can't beat it.

Great price, course in good shape,fairways and greens. Drove from foley and is well worth drive!!
Enjoyed the round!
Especially enjoyed the topography...much different than the flat-land courses we usually play, Tees and fairways in great shape. Unfortunately, the greens need work. All-in-all, a good day. I would definitely go back...but in cooler weather!
