Great course
Beautiful elevation changes, wide fairways and good rolling greens. I will definitely come back.
This course was a waste of time, energy, and money
We went to Lake Forest Golf Course today to plan a round of golf. Our GPS took us to a random house and not the clubhouse. They had no signs up to direct you to the course from there. It took us another 10 minutes to find the clubhouse which inevitably made us miss our tee time. The club house refused to give us a refund or reschedule our tee time. We were told we had to make changes through Golf Now that had no option to change or modify our reservation. Once we called them on the phone we were told all modifications have to be made through the app. If you’re going to partner with a website then you should have an option to modify those reservations and offer refunds. At the very least you should be able to provide another tee time when you have no signs up to find the course. This trip was simply time, money, and energy wasted.
Great experience
Haven't played here in a few years n really enjoyed the experience today.
Green conditions
overall the course was in good condition. the only issue was that the greens had recently been aerated and sand filled. this was not mentioned when checking in. the surface was extremely rough making for difficult conditions. would have probably gone somewhere else. usually the course is in decent condition.

Good value
Great value course for a beginner like me. Carts and layout are prefectly fine, tees are well maintained. Putting greens are honestly rough. It was more sand than grass, and really required over hitting to get it to go anywhere
Nice fun course
First time to play this course. Great course for the money. Greens were full of sand due to airiation. But that’s fine they will be fine later for another round.

Course did not honor TeeOff reservation or price. Clubhouse staff incredibly rude about the entire situation. Will not be going back to this course.

Extremely bad greens
Everything, fairways & tees, was good for the time of the year except the greens - they were just plain bad! There was no consistency - very fast in some areas but course and very slow in others. To make it worse, on this day the pins were placed where the grass was worst, some just a few feet from the edge. Hopefully they'll get better but they need a lot of TLC!

Cheapest round in town, but unfortunately the quality matches the price. I’d rather not golf here again.

Mediocre course
Doesn’t drain well, doesn’t dry out quickly, fairways in poor/okay condition, greens need lots of help.
Just an okay course, if you live in the community, I guess?
30 bucks was a slight relief, until I got onto the course.
I don’t normally beat-up golf courses, but if you’ve got a beating coming...
I little extra effort on the groundskeepers and it could turn around quickly.
