Challenging Economical Course
Terrific and challenging layout in a very beautiful location.
However... the tee boxes are in really bad condition and the greens are inconsistent, some are actually lumpy and the ball does not move straight on a flat surface.
Great course, needs attention
The setting is beautiful and the course is very challenging. Fairways are in great shape. The tee boxes are not. Hardly any grass. Hard to get tees into the ground. The day I played the putting greens were very high. I am sure that is something that will improve after this heat wave subsides.
Awesome hidden gem!!!!!
Very cool spot. Wish I could keep this place a secret but then I would be not telling ppl how great an experience we had. Super friendly staff and cool country style layout, as it was intended many years ago. No complaints whatsoever. Can't wait to come back. And kinda excited to see what the investor has in store....Hopefully just polishing and perfecting. No need to be uppity like many other places. Love the family ran feel of this place.
Good to learn
Although it can use some basic maintenance the course is perfect at the cost for the beginner
FUN
A great hidden gem - Joe was very welcoming and set the expecting with us right up front…
if you are looking for Pebble Beach this isn’t the course for you. If you are looking for fun and getting in a practice round or two, this is the place. For the value, it can’t be beat. Great friendly staff. Again, accept the course for what it is - a fun place to golf for a great value….
Nice for value
Only thing I didn’t like was extremely wet greens as we played early. You couldn’t get ball to hole even if you hit hard. Cart paths a bit rough.
Fun 9 hole
It’s a 9 hole course, so if you sign up for 18, you just play it twice. Incredibly friendly staff. I met the owner and he was the nicest guy
Grey course
Had low expectations but I was pleasantly impressed by the friendliness of the owner and how well the course was run
Great Experience
Golf course is the only thing still being run on site - Inn has closed. Course was in great shape has a very good layout that uses some hills around the perimeter for elevated
Tee shots and has great older greens.
Great value
Course is in good condition
Greens are also in good condition
This is a no frills course but a great value for the price
Have been there many times and will continue playing this course
Get what you pay for
Filthy carts!!! Several available and when asked for our own carts, being we each paid our ten bucks, she rudely said no even though they had several available at the end of the day and we were only ones left on course. No is No, WOW!! Will never return
Backyard course
Staff could care less whether you return. Carts filthy, course not well maintained at all. Guess you get what you pay for, right? Lady was very rude when we each asked for our own cart as we each paid ten bucks and fee said cart included. They had at least a dozen available carts and she wouldn’t budge. No is no, WOW. Never will return
Fees for cart
Never was able to get a clear explanation with cart fees as they had several available late in the day. The course was not busy at all and asked for another cart being that we each paid the $10 fee. She said no and that two of us would have to share a cart. I asked why as the that cart went for $20 when it only goes for $10. Really slowed the pace as we had to go at times i two different directions to get to our balls.
Wow, just wow, and not a good wow.
Booked a tee time for my dad and I for his birthday. When we arrived at the course we were shocked at the complete disarray of the facilities, we had to question if it was even operational. The main building looks condemned and the “pro shop” is nonexistent. There was no staff around and the place seemed to be run by a single person and a young boy.
The tee boxes were a mess, many of which were completely dirt. Cart paths were borderline in need of an ATV to get around. Granted, a lot of rain fell this week but this course shouldn’t have been open. I can only imagine the damage done by the carts getting stuck all over the fairways. It’s owned by the Parks Service and should definitely have some more resources devoted to it. Scenery is great and this course has significant potential but wow!
