Cherokee Ridge Country Club

From the clubhouse to the first tee all the way to the green on 18. Very professional and a very fun challenging course. The grass looks amazing. The greens are great highly recommend playing here.

I do not mind the course letting 5 people play but they should be told that they should let faster groups play through!

Beautiful course, and even with the drought we have been under the course was well maintained and the greens were fabulous

Staff is fantastic, course is fun, greens in great shape but there was a group of 5 men ahead of us and they each had their own cart. You would think that would help them keep pace of play but no, they seemed to do a swan dance with their carts after every shot. And the term ready golf must be an unknown term. To them. They would wait for each player to hit , then drive the cart , after the cart dance, to the next players ball, Very rude.

I would play again but pray this group was busy with chores!

Cherokee Ridge has seen numerous improvements in course conditions in the past 18 months or so. The new greens are incredible now. The fairways are thicker even with scarce rain this summer. And thank God or someone on the new management staff flipped the nines back correctly. As I write this a trackhoe was working on number 2 s bunkers. I hope he continues on through the rest of the course as many are gravel laden.

Had to play with 80 degree weather at the end of October. Went as a single and played with 3 locals who were wonderful! Had a great time. Very dry but course was in great shape. Bermuda greens were firm and fast and rolled true. The local guys (Chris, Jason & Rich) helped me play my best round at Cherokee Ridge where I have played 5 or 6 times when in North Alabama visiting family. Course layout is great and fall foliage and mountain views were beautiful!

Always a great time at the Ridge! Unique and challenging golf course that’s always in great shape! Can’t beat the Mountain Views all around the course! Go check it out soon if you’re looking for a great place to play!

All was great except someone allowed a fivesome to play and my partner and I sat behind them from the 11th hole until the end. Never offered us a chance to play through. I don’t mind when five play but they should pull over and allow a faster twosome to go by.

Beautiful course, very challenging, and well maintained. My only complaint would be there is no cart service and no yardage markers, but I would still play here any chance I get.

Greens are in great shape. Pace of play is horrible. There were 6 people with 4 carts in front of us and it held up play. Almost did get to finish

Needs a Marshall to speed up.

Aside from that it’s very nice

This course shocked me. I’ve played courses around the United States. This course was one of the best bang for your buck courses I’ve ever played. Maybe it was the perfect weather or the changing leaves…either way, it was just an amazing day of golf. Pace of play slowed up a little due to 5-some playing. Other than that, it was a great time.
