Great course

Greens are in great shape. Pace of play is horrible. There were 6 people with 4 carts in front of us and it held up play. Almost did get to finish

Needs a Marshall to speed up.

Aside from that it’s very nice

Pleasant Surpise!

This course shocked me. I’ve played courses around the United States. This course was one of the best bang for your buck courses I’ve ever played. Maybe it was the perfect weather or the changing leaves…either way, it was just an amazing day of golf. Pace of play slowed up a little due to 5-some playing. Other than that, it was a great time.

Great experience

First time at the course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Considering how dry northern Alabama has been the course is in good shape. Good variety of holes and fun to play. Staff was great. Upon learning it was our first time there the Assistant Pro (John?) gave me a brief overview of the course and explained the layout. Great service. Will be back.

One of the best in the Huntsville area

If you are a golfer, Cherokee Ridge is a must course to play. The course architecture is excellent. It is interesting, in some places, exciting to play for all levels of player capability. The better a player you are, the more you will enjoy the course. It is very tough on beginners.

Fairways and greens are very well maintained. Many north Alabama golf course managers are incapable of growing grass on the their fairways. Cherokee Ridge agronomists know how to grow grass and maintain their fairways. On Cherokee Ridge, if you find a fairway with decent power, you will have a viable chance to score. That's all a golfer can ask for.

This was my first time ever playing golf on a course. Luckily I was the last one, so I could take my time. I ended up going to the 10 first, so I got caught in with everyone else.
