Great views!
Absolutely love this course. By no means would I say I’m a great player. But my love for this game grows every time I come to Cherokee Ridge. Great quality greens, great scenery, friendly staff. Plus the waterfall on the back 9 makes for a great photo opportunity. This is in my top 2 in north Alabama.

Absolutely fantastic!
Of all the public courses in the Huntsville area (yes it's a 40 min drive) that are even reasonably affordable, this one is by far the best. Stunning layout and views coupled with excellent conditions and great staff make Cherokee Ridge a must play for locals and visitors alike.

Fairways and greens play great.
The grounds staff at Cherokee may be the only staff who know how to grow and maintain fairway grass in northern Alabama. Fairways are excellent. Lies are generally good, allowing one to properly strike the golf ball.

Beautiful course
An absolutely beautiful course. I will definitely be back. My only issue was there were no silhouettes of the holes at the tee box. Since it was my first time it was difficult to know the layout prior to teeing off.

Fun course
Greens are new and a little slow but otherwise the course is in very good condition. WE had a very good time playing and certainly will recommend it to our friends..

Worth your time
Great challenging course , great price , just a few bare spots on the fairway edges. Greens in great shape and speed was the same on all greens

Great day
Great day playing The Ridge. Staff hustled to get carts to us and although we started a little late the pace of play was very good. Love the amenities too including a clinic and Srixon demo

Driving range
We had a tee-time at 2:40. We arrived at 2:10 in order to practice at the driving range before start. We were told that the range balls was on the range. When we got to the range there were no balls. I went back to the pro shop and told the lady there were no balls. She said “sorry” but we have no one that can gather balls. We went to the greens.
