Got a early tee time and was able to hook up with a club member. It has been a long time since I had played here and it won’t take me so long to go back. Course is in fine shape

The course is in fantastic shape. This is a challenging yet forgiving course. The layout is fun and beautiful. The water falls are an extra treat. We did not stop to eat but will next time.

Played this in early June for the first time. Liked it so much played it again. 2 weeks later. We moved to Huntsville in the fall of 2020 and I have been trying the various courses within a one hour drive of Huntsville. This is my favorite so far. Great layout with a lot of variety. Course conditions were excellent, very well maintained.

I was hesitant to play this course after the last few years. The greens were in poor condition but everything else was always good. The greens are greatly improved. Not as fast as RTJ or Gunters Landing but plush, green, and true roll. Mid handicapper dream. Fairways plush also. Great shape. Lots of blind shots and not a long course but beautiful. Worth playing. No Marshall during the week or drink cart.

The course improvements are everywhere........The worn out look has surely changed,,,,,No longer looking tired and homes going up all over the property......As the wife says....... fluffy lies are sure fun to hit off of.........if you haven't played here or haven't played in years give them a second chance......Super friendly staff as well............

The course is challenging as a first time playing. Some holes require well placed shots. A ton of no no areas which was challenging as it was my first time. Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Greens roll average, not fast or slow. You can tell the management is continuously improving the quality of the course. Only reason a 4 star it is quite not a 5 star but can tell it’s only a couple months alway from being it!

Cherokee Ridge is maintained excellent. Great staff! It’s a tough track that forces you to put the ball in some strategic spots, if not you’re sure to lose a ball or five haha but it’s one of the best courses in the area.

A beautiful day with a mid 80's temperature! Great golf day except No Cart services at all. No on course water makes this course drop in ratings due to this major deficiency! Clubhouse staff was great! Board needs to get current on what are the standards of other local top end courses.

Since the change in ownership, this course's condition keeps getting better and better. Greens are in great shape, albeit a bit slower than the look like they might be.

Lots of things on the course needs to be cleaned up.

It is a good public course but no where near an exclusive country club.

I was over in Huntsville for business and meeting with my buddy is Decatur when we stumbled upon this course. The head pro was from Atlanta, my neck of the woods, and we hit it off right away. From courses in the hometown to the bottom of the state, this guy new his stuff and even gave us a free yardage book!

We get on the course and have a few slow players... but the marshalls were very attentive and kept us moving! We started on the back 9, which is probably more appealing 9 to the eye. Greens were good. Fairways were mowed right, but the tee boxes could use a little help.. all in all , great course and I will be back just to play this course!
