Cherokee Ridge Country Club

This course is fantastic. It could use a little TLC but very little. It is fair but distracting because of the beautiful views and homes. 10th hole felt like falling off the face of the earth with a deep gorge between fairway and the green. It was awe inspiring. Play the right tees and its a blast. Greens were in transition stage with some green other parts yellow/white. Not sure whats going on but they still rolled true. Its a beautiful place in a remote part of Morgan/Marshall counties. The waterfall complex between 14 and 15 is surreal and mesmerizing. Play it first to look around, then play it to score.

We REALLY enjoyed the course. The staff are very friendly and professional. The course layout is interesting and challenging. Highly recommend taking advantage of the course booklet they provide free of charge.

Stayed at "The Lake House" for a guys weekend and played 36 holes between Friday and Saturday. This place is awesome. The course has all sorts of surprises and a huge waterfall on the back 9. The house was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and golf as it is literally right on the course. Staff was awesome and everything else was great as well.

The grass was still brown and the greens had been recently punched, but we were pleasantly surprised when we showed up to find out the course had discounted the rate we had agreed upon through GolfNow. That helped quite a bit in making the trip worthwhile. The course layout is excellent, and it's challenging enough to make you work to card a good score. I especially enjoy the par-3s. And the par-5 10th is an intriguing hole. Play the right set of tees for your game, and you'll have a good time at Cherokee Ridge.

Had the pleasure to play Cherokee Ridge and stay at the Lakehouse. Both are amazing facilities. Despite the recent rain, course was in great shape and has a fun layout. The Lakehouse is fantastic - the staff treated us great all weekend. Will definitely be back soon.

Played the course while staying at the Lake House on property for multiple days and had an absolute blast. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our entire group, the course layout was fantastic, and the Lake House was a perfect place to stay. The food was also excellent as well at the clubhouse!

More on the course- these greens are like lightning. There are great elevation changes throughout the entire course and this is a true test for your game.

I would recommend this course to everyone I possibly could. It is perfect for your casual round and even better for a golf getaway with your friends.

Cherokee Golf course will have an excellent rating when the weather clears up.

The course layout is second to none in the area. Several challenging holes and obviously it is a championship golf course. It was very wet the day we played and there was very soggy conditions. Not sure if they don’t have very good drainage system or if they have issues with standing water but several fairways were completely saturated, had to move the ball to the rough almost 30 yards from where I hit it so i could hit a shot. They seem to be doing some work around the course and it may just take some time for it to take hold. Would play again if given a good deal like I got on Golf Now but wouldn’t play for normal price.

Course was in great shape considering how wet it was. Green were still very firm but not as fast as they are normally.

Great course. Probably the best combination of well maintained and challenging in the area. Knocked off a star because the greens had a couple issues. Will probably play here the most over the next season.

This is one of the best golf courses in this area to play. It has everything and enjoyable and to play .Always in good shape

I will play this golf course many more times and as often as possible.
