Great Course. The Tee Box grass was long. My Main problem was they have group of five playing and did not do anything. On a Saturday is ridiculous.

The course has lost at least 50% of nearly every fairway. Played in dust & sand on most fairways. Greens were very nice. Majority of tee boxes were re-sodded. No indication that the fairways were even being worked. Looks like a lot of $$ and re-sodding of fairways will be needed if the course is determined to stay open.

When we first began to play the course the fairways were perfect, the tee boxes and greens were also very nice, but now the conditions have worsened. Yet the conditions are not the problem, the problem is that there are tournaments almost everyday of the week which makes it very difficult to find tee times. It is very frustrating to be a member yet hardly get to play because of tournaments. The staff is very friendly and the course has the potential to be very good but the patrons are very frustrated with the tournaments.

Some of the fairways are shot, but that’s due to a “late freeze”.

Some of the cart paths will shake your guts out, but that’s on the HOA. Also need more watering stations for those hot Alabama days!!

We always have a great time on a very challenging course. We love to play here. Excellent driving range.

I love the layout of the course but it needs a lot of work. They put in new greens and are working on the tee boxes, but there is very little living grass in the fairways. Also drive your cart very slow, the cart paths are in rough shape. I hope they keep working on it. I would play there a lot if it was in great shape.

We got behind a “sixsome”. After 5 holes we played thru.

Very hilly fairways. Greens were in great shape, tricky to putt if you don’t play them a lot.

Some fairways had dead areas. Will go back in a month to see if the fairways come back. Hole 10 is a monster!!!

Undortunately we only got 9 holes in before the deluge of rain. The front 9 was nice with a good layout. Tee boxes were under maintenance but plenty of room to tee off. Green’s were in very good condition. Range balls with the purchase of the round was nice.

Like many courses in North Alabama, Cherokee Ridge was hit with Winter Kill due to the freeze in January. The tee boxes effected has already began the process of re-sodding. Greens are perfect and layout in unmatched. Definitely worth the trip.

Diseased tee boxes, weedy rough, spotchy fairway grass at $75? A round?

The monthly membership fee is fair... barely ...but last year it was under $40 to play with a member and now it's $55 and the course is in worse shape.

Played in the Alabama Two Man this past weekend. Unbelievably well ran event and will definitely be back for a regular round.
