Good value!
This was my first round at Riverlands, and for the money it was great value. The greens were in pretty good shape, rolled quicker as the day went on. With all the sun this week, the course was drying up pretty well and getting plenty of roll out in the fairway. Only issue was all the bunkers were not maintained and needed sand desperately. Had a good time, and would recommend if in the La Place area.
Riverland GC
Enjoyed the course very much. It was in very good shape and the weather could not be any better. My friends enjoyed the course and our time together. It’s a good distance to meet between Prairieville and New Orleans.
Great value!
All around great course conditions but not too difficult for the average golfer. Will definitely be back. Foot golf was a huge plus as well.
All wet
Weather has really caused golf courses in this area to suffer. But this course doesn't drain very well. There has been no precipitation here in at least 2days: yet, 7 holes were cart path only and another 6 holes were 90 degrees. Think a special set of shoes will have to be purchased to play this course it was so soggy and muddy. What a mess.
Review
Staff was friendly and no one was out there, but the course is in very rough shape. I don’t know if they are letting it go because it is winter, but it is not in any sort of shape that it should be open. They should be shutting it down to fix the bunkers as they are all listed as ground under repair and figuring out how to drain the course because they have so much built up water all over. Spare yourself a drive if you are not nearby.

Very nice golf day and course
Greens are large and they roll smooth and true. Course was extremely wet due to the heavy rain over the last couple of weeks. It was cart path only throughout the round. It was still a very enjoyable round. The only negative was that they do not allow personal food or drinks to be taken on the course but they had no beverage cart..
All in all a very nice neighborhood course.
Meh
After reading all the 4-star reviews, we were expecting an above average course but what we actually played was just below average. Sure, it’s a decent value but the layout leaves much to be desired with straight ahead tee shots, flat fairways, and very little scenery. The bunkers were unplayable and the greenside rough was a mixture of dirt and grass. The greens were average or above average. The back nine is slightly better with a few holes that are intriguing but overall this course is 2.5 of 5.
Really Nice Course
Really nice course; we play there fairly often. The prices are reasonable and the course is challenging but not too difficult. Don't usually have to wait for other golfers. We drive there from Baton Rouge because we like the course. They maintain the course very well so there are no problems.
Love this golf course
With the exception of some of the bunkers, which are currently being reworked, the course was in excellent condition. The speed of the greens was very consistent with smooth rolls. As always the staff was friendly and helpful.
Teed off at 11:18 and never had to wait on anyone to hit a shot.
Definitely recommend this course to anyone.
Fun, but needs work
Nice course. Not crowded during the week. Needs maintenance on fairways and bunkers. Greens in good shape.
Fun Time
Staff is very friendly. Love the layout. I play the White tees with the occasional round from the Blues. Sufficient challenge from both.
Only negative is sand traps are in need of upgrade.
