Great afternoon, course was very good, greens were in very good shape, had a blast!
Fun course
I enjoy playing this course, as the layout is nice and the pace is usually pretty good. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which helps on my overall rating since the bunkers do need a lot of improvement.
This course dries out faster than most.
I play this course a half dozen times a year and always enjoy it. I seem to make more putts, especially long ones and shoot some of my lower scores here. I booked it online for $15 with cart. The best deal around. Met up on the back nine with a couple guys from Houma that were playing here for the first time and they both agreed it's a great deal and a fun, nice place to play.
Tough Great Course
Great Course tough greens. Only down fall is the sand traps
Greens are tough
Course is wide open and challenging especially when you get to the green. What seems to be an easy putt winds up at the fringe on the other side of the green. Fun course recommend it anyone.

Great course, golf now adds value because of the hot deals.
Staff Needs More Personality
Every time I go there, it seems that this particular guy at the front desk has some sly remarks. The course had a total of 8 people golfing at the time and he is quibbling over a person being 2 minutes late for his scheduled tee time. The have a great membership drive going on right now, however, if they want to increase their membership; they are going have to make (ALL) the golfers feel more welcome. The staff definitely needs to step up their game.
Good value
Old style parkland type layout typical of the 1960s when it opened. Narrow tree lined fairways. Flat and therefore poor drainage. Small, extremely fast greens with a surprising amount of elevation and contour. Several times my playing partner had putts roll off the green. They do take backspin much better than most area courses. Fairway and greens very well maintained. Tee boxes not as well because they are small by today's standards. Bunkers also not very good because without modern drainage they were wet and packed from rain that fell a few days before our round. Carts in very good condition. Staff very friendly. Teeing off at 1:30 we finished at 4:45. For the price, $12.00 plus tax and fees for a total of $17.00, a very good value.
For the price it was worth the 1 hour n 15 min drive. It was cold n a little damp but the course was in pretty good shape after all the rain they were getting. I would like to play it again when it is a little drier. The greens were really fast but we were told.

Everything as expected. No issues encountered. Staff always friendly and accommodating
