About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Pace of play very slow. There was a fivesome in front of us.
Frenetic but Fun
Course was very busy, which we expected, but more frenetic then we expected. Frequent golf balls crossing fairways, slow play. The good news is the fairways and greens are in great shape and love the practice area.
Good times!
Second time I have golfed here with family. The course is great for all skill levels! The greens were is great shape too!! I love this course.
Desert
Overall ok as long as you can stay out of the desert, tough on your clubs if not in the fairway.
Not worth the money
Played on other courses and can’t compare , really poor , there is too much gravel and Rock on roughs , if you’re not on the fairway you sure don’t wanna hit the ball there without damaging your clubs. Also the adjacent highways on both corners are very noisy , direction to hole to follow are hard to find on some of the back nine. As well waited on the par 3 ‘s. With 2 to 3 groups., slow not worth the money,

Greens were very good but this course is rough around the edges. Fairways cut way to short
Not worth the price
Pot oversees, price too high. Pace of play really slow. Won’t be playing there again.
Great value
This course is always in good shape and they keep the price at a reasonable amount. I highly recommend for a solid public course!
Great little east valley secret
Never played here before. Open layout but still challenging. Island green was fun. Pace was a bit slow but normal for this time of year.
Waste Areas Unplayable
The layout for the course is fine and the greeens were in very good shape so I don't want to complain too much. However, there is a lot of waste area just off the fairway. If you missed the fairway, the waste areas were virtually unplayable unless you want to damage your clubs. Waste areas consisted of hard-packed gravel and sand. We moved our ball to the fairway so we wouldn't damage our clubs. So, we really didn't have an accurate score because of this.
Fairways were not terrific either.
