About

Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Below average

The greens are in good shape which to me is the most important part of course conditions. However, the rest of the course is below average. Fairways are thin, tee boxes are very inconsistent and beyond the fairways are bare dirt. Beverage cart showed up on the 6th hole and then wasn’t seen again.

Worst course ever!

This is a goat ranch and the staff are not friendly at all. We waited at every hole. The guy who takes care of the power carts was a jerk and when we got off, same thing. No course Marshall or cart girl either. I would not recommend this course to anyone,.

Beyond Disappointed

This course was a total waste of a day and money. Folks should avoid this place like Covid. The specialty was gravel and rocks not grass. It should be a Par 3 because the greens were the only thing redeemable at this course. The only friendly person was the Starter from OHIO and our playing partners from Illinois.

I should mention that although the course should be converted to housing the mountain views were terrific. Buyers will bid big bucks for their lots.

Very few good things to say.

Overpriced for the overall conditions of the course. Very slow play with no water or complimentary drink cart throughout play. After 9 holes stopped in to get drinks and use restrooms but entire clubhouse was closed down. Very disappointing based on the price paid to golf. Would not recommend this course to anyone a d it will definitely be the last time I will ever play there again. PERIOD.

We’ were 30 minutes late teeing off - we were not informed of this - there was no way of getting 18 holes in but we’re charged for 18. Pace of golfing was horrendous - waited several minutes on every hole we got played. Greens were in good shape, tee off boxes were in poor shape
