Nestled within a quiet retirement community, the Sunland Village East Golf Course is a great course for seniors and beginners. It is also a good course for golfers who want to work on their short game, especially practicing with short irons. The course, which is a mix of par 3s and par 4s, has a short layout that rewards good shots making it perfect for golfers who are intimidated by lengthier courses with par 5s. On this golf course, the longest hole is a modest 331 yards. The Sunland Village East Golf Course facility also had a full driving range.

Nice Little Track
We only had time to play 9 and this course was a fun little retirement community track. Extremely short par 4’s and a lot of par 3’s. The staff was super friendly and the green were fast and in really good shape.
The only drawback was the pace of play. We were stacked up for the entire round with walkers in front of us and two foursomes in front of them. There was a ranger on the course but he did little to improve the pace of play. I guess this is to be expected in Arizona in the spring.
This was a fun course and I will look to play here again if I don’t have a lot of time.
Great Executive Course
This course is great to dial in your wedge game and short shots. Lots of good and challenging par 3 holes with a couple par 4 holes that are reachable for long hitters. Friendly environment and locals.

Staff friendly. Place was excellent and course in excellent shape.
beautiful course
it was a beautiful course great layout, it was cart path only, but really didn’t make a huge dent in our play. very well taken care of beautiful landscaping. A good amount of 300+ yard holes not a lot of variances in each holes- lots of straight lines to the green, but if you can drive straight it's perfct for you!

Great place to play, course is in very good shape and we got done in about 3 hours.

Some bare spots feeling the heat but they are being tended to and watered.
Overall this course is in pretty good shape and the greens are in very good shape.
Enjoy it this price won't last....

SVE is good even during the summer!
This course is very playable all year usually and it was on Thursday. They doing some work to keep it playing well and in this intense heat it is challenging but not impossible.
This is an executive court par 65.
There are 2 yee boxes being rebuilt and there is some summer caused patchy fairway issues here and there.
The greens are great but the very few traps are not so great.
The price is right! It is worth playing a 3 hour round for the money and the fun.
Give it a shot.
Staff very friendly
Play this course twice a month. Really enjoy it. Course in excellent summer shape. They are redoing 3 tee boxes so a little easier to play.
Have only had to wait on a few holes. Proshop staff is excellent.
