About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

We consider this to be our home course. Close to our place of stay. They know us by name. Excellent people!!!!
Slow Day
The course was terrible. THE PACE OF PLAY WAS AWFAL, NO MARSHALL!!! The course is old and has NOT been maintained. Won't be going back!!

The course is way past its prime. Everything about it is in poor condition. The pace of play was terrible and no marshal. The only thing good was the weather.
Apache Creek
Simple layout with little variation and lots of flat desert with fine gravel so the ball will roll out and easy to find.
The only redeeming features for this course are that it's easy, cheap and the greens have some good slopes.
We always feel a good challenge on this course especially to stay in the fairways due to the desert inlay it has. We love it. We call it our home course.
We were disappointed in the conditions of the fairways and the lack of grass overall. The "rocky" areas are too extensive and penal.
So slow
They overbooked the course. Took 4.5 hours and people just started walking off the course. Won’t play again.
Rough around the edges…….
Your typical municipal course in a “true” desert setting. Lots of people with balls flying everywhere as course is heavily booked. Greens were shaggy and never rolled true, typical of over seeding this time of year. Had a great time with the people we played with from New York as we’re from Canada.
Don’t waste your money
For $50-60 this is a waste. If you like summer golf conditions and winter golf waiting for $60, this course is for you.
Spend the extra money and play a real course. Oh and by the way you can’t have a cooler unless your purchase 3 or more drinks from them. Pathetic, just like the course conditions.
Never again will I spend a penny here.
Desert course that still requires good shots
Easy to find parking ok can’t take carts to car, check in easy , water for towels , carts pretty used but work ok, tees ok, fairways good, greens good bunkers have some sand,, water on course for you, long way to some fairways
