About
Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Solid value
The views from and conditions of this course are excellent. We will be back.
everything was good bot some greens needed a bit of love
Not worth the money
Very overpriced course by about 3 times. I do not usually write reviews but have to on this one. Rude staff and a starter that had no interest in being there. Our very first experience was seeing the starter as we arrived to drop our bags, we asked how the course was playing and he threw his hands in the air and said take a look yourself, looks damp still doesn't it? Met another group on the course that had the same experience with him and said they seen this a couple times this week at the course. This course is not worth the rate based on the course layout and condition of the course. Was surprised based on other courses we played this week that were not much more and had exceptional experiences at the other courses.
Great conditions - ranger not speeding up play
Course was great conditions, ranger came by multiple times and never let the group of 3 infront of us to speed up, they would take over 30 minutes to play a hole and ranger said nothing to them, we were so backed up that we had 3 other groups catch up and wait. None of the rangers said anything to the 3 some
Had to skip over and pass them up and there wasn’t a group in sight infront for a few holes
Recent overseed, but decent course
The greens were fairway length due to recent overseeding processes, but not bad overall. Ended up grouped with other singles. 2 out of 3 were good, 1 local was unfriendly and not a practitioner of golf etiquette (loudly spitting repeatedly while standing on the tee box during others tee shot routine, among many other violations). Overall good day.
Solid Course
Nothing to rave about. Got back up heavily at hole 10 with no site of ranger. Solid track with gettable holes
Fun playable course
Given the challenges of the summer heat and NONSOON rain, these guys did well to keep it playable all summer. One of my favorites.
This course has some good challenging places, and I’d recommend it for everyone
I came with eight players, and every one of us of the eight players enjoyed the golf course. It was fantastic. I would recommend it. Everything went smooth. People were great in clubhouse and the off side amenities were fantastic.
