About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Ehhhh... wouldn’t go again even if Free
This course has so much potential but grounds are patchy everywhere. End up in the fairway and expect a lie that is more challenging than desert lies. Putting on the greens 9/18 greens have cancer and are patchy and will bounce off any line you roll. Was hoping for the price it’d be in line with Johnson Ranch, Los Colinas or even Kokopelli but those courses make Apache creek look like a dirt lot. Oh and it was a 3-5 minute wait between shots. With that said and how many rounds are being played daily you wonder what they are doing with the $$$ cause it’s not showing in the maintenance or improvements whatsoever.
Course is in very good condition
I played this course weekly 6 or so years ago,. It is much improved sense than. Might be a little pricey, but aren’t they all this time of year. Course is in (not great) good shape. Pace of play was good. All around good day of golf. Would recommend it.

Course needs work
Overall condition of course is not good. It needs a lot of work. I suppose for the money it's okay but I prefer a nicer course.

greens are usually fair and well maintained, today they were somewhat rough, and bumpy, but all things considered they were do able.

goat ranches are much better than this place... only bright spot was Sara, the drink cart girl..... otherwise.... put up another 10 bucks and play a good course!!!!

Fairways suck, greens suck...... starter, cart guys, and pro shop staff rude.... Sara on the drink cart was an angel!!!! For what they charge....add 10 bucks and play a good golf course!!!!

Better values available in the area
Fairways very spotty, greens absolutely were crap. The beer girl was the bright spot of the day. Spend your $ a better way, just saying (eye roll)

Never again
The course was in horrible condition, something I would expect in the middle of the summer. Greens were bumpy with little grass. The fairway grass was spotty in most area’s. The golf course packed the course and was told we should not have any problem getting 18 holes in. After a 2.5 hour front nine myself and golf partner decide to call it quits. We are taking this course off our list.

Tough shape
The drought has taken a toll on the course, the greens were dry, cut very low. The marks of reseeding were apparent. The fairways and tee boxes were also dry.

Greens were not good. they were hard, fast very bumpy difficult to chip to and very difficult to putt

Forever Slow Play
We try this course each year hoping for an improvement in condition or pace of play and are once again disappointed. Course is in dry and very rough condition with the greens being excessively bumpy. Frustrating when the starters seem to provide no benefit and cannot maintain a reasonable pace of play with a departing comment after you are teeing off 20 minutes late already of "I hope you brought your patience with you today". How about actually have a "Marshall" get out on the course and try to regain some control on the pace of play. 5 hrs for this type of course is unacceptable.

Very poor course conditions
The course was dry and hardly and grass anywhere. Greens were poor as well. Also not enough garbage cans as there were empty beer and pop cans everywhere. Won’t play it again this year.
