About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Good course for the money
Course is in pretty good shape. Greens were medium fast but bumpy. Tee boxes need attention. The staff is always very friendly. Good people! Thanks Scott

Apache Creek Windy
The course is in need of fine tuning to bring it up to higher standards. The fairways need more seed or different type of grass. The greens are fast but dry need water but with no rain understandable. I like the course just needs a little more work.

Good value.
I play here frequently as it is a good track with reasonable conditions and usually plays in less than 4 hours. Today we were about 4:15 which sounds ok but course can easily be played in 3 hours with nobody in your way. Group in front and of us played the tips and rarely hit a ball from the fairway!! The management seems to be trying to bring back old design with lakes on back nine. Overall if you want a fun round with some interesting holes but don’t want to spend a 100 dollars this is a good choice.

Course in good shape and greens real fast needs some water on the greens to help them hold.

The course was in terrible shape
The greens were bumpy fairways missing much grass for the price they charge this place is a cow pasture. This course was bragging about the increase in rounds and money during the year and thus is what the place looks like so sad they decided not to put any money back into their investment

Good value
Interesting layout. Mostly flat. Great value for Feb. and great pace of play for a 1PM tee time. Desert areas are rough. Greens ok. A couple were bumpy. I’d play it again.

The price was right
The price was right. Fairways a little narrow good price for the area and pace of play was good.

Poor greens. Did not come they re-seed well at all. Fairways sparse at best. Very disappointed.
Poor greens. Sparse fairways at best. Very disappointed in conditions. Played here many years, 20.+ . Reseed was awful. Love the staff and greens keeper could do a lot better.

The first time I have had to pay for a cart to ride single since COVID started 20.00 is a little steep

Good time
Good time at this course. Pace of play was excellent considering how crowded it was. People playing are all super cool so it was a fun time. Great views as well.

Unacceptable pace of play
No Marshall. Had a 2:30 tee time, carts must be in by 6, couldn’t even get 12 holes in. Never playing here again. This is the third time in a row with terrible pace of play.
