Torres Blancas Golf Club

Don't know how you went from the worst greens in Southern Arizona to probably the best greens, but Job Well Done!! To those reading these reviews, Torres Blancas couse is better than San Ignacio, Canoa Ranch, Haven, and Tubac without question!! I was pleasantly surprised.

We love playing this course and typically the pace of play is "okay". However, all it takes is one group to cause huge backups. After playing 9 holes in 2 hours, we made the turn and there were a total of 6 groups on the 10th hole. It took us 1 hour to play 10, 11 & 12, of which one of the holes is a par 3. The cart girl told us that there was a huge 3 hole gap between the group causing the problem and the group in front of them. People were calling but the answer is always the same... "I don't have a ranger so I can't do anything". The simple remedy is to give the cart person the authority to instruct the group holding everyone up to either skip a hole or to leave if they don't comply. OR... HIRE A RANGER! Because of the delay, we jumped over to 17 & 18 and finished our round with absolutely no one in sight of the 17th tee. We missed playing 4 holes because of this discourteous group. This is uncalled for and they should either hire a ranger or give authority to the person on the beverage cart. When we left there were a ton of golfers waiting for carts with another 1 hour wait for this "SLOW" group to finish up. This can't happen with winter being our busiest time of year! The 1 star overall rating is simply because the course management should have the sense to hire a ranger. If they had someone out there managing the course I would certainly give them a 5 star overall rating!

The golf course is very much improved the greens are nothing like they were in the past they are now fast and true . The greens superintendent should be congratulated on a job well done.

This was our first time playing the course.

The fairways and greens were in excellent condition however the sand traps were nothing more than dirt and rocks. Impossible to hit a ball in one without potential club damage.

The cart was OLD, the brake in poor repair and very hard to release.

We would not play this course again in its current condition!

We didn't know what to expect, and we were pleasantly surprised! The greens are lush and clean and we met the best guy who was added to our threesome. The cart girl came around and the bathrooms were clean. Weather was cold but warmed up at the turn. We will definitely be back!

Friendly course. Always a great staff there. Tom at the clubhouse was a great clubhouse manager ... friendly and receptive.

Beautiful day, friendly, courteous and helpful staff and meeting awesome people . Could it get any better of course it always can be better but mother nature provided for the soul with beautiful views of the Santa Rita's and Madera canyon as showers clouds misted the peaks and valleys of this beautiful mountain range. The course was an amazing shape as the fairways were a bit long in some spots but look like carpet the greens were decent as well as the tee boxes. Showers in the morning on the first couple holes was welcomed as the monsoon was not all that great this summer. The pace of play was held up due to the showers early in the morning but gave me time to reflect and enjoy the show that mother nature provided this day giving me peace of mind that was definitely needed I keep forgetting abou having one of my better rounds ever and locking myself out of my vehicle.... the day couldn't have been any better

I really like this course. Cons, a bit dry, both fairways and greens. Cart lady should accept cards and not cash only.
