Torres Blancas Golf Club

The green are patchy and really slow and the bunkers still suck. They are filling a couple of bunkers, maybe they should fill the rest. They have done a LOT of brush removal and tree trimming. The front nine looks really good.

Though the grassy areas were recovering from a successful 'over seed', it was in good condition for being 'fuzzy'. With a couple of weeks, expect to pay a premium as this course will grow in well for the 2024/25 season. It was worth the 40 mile drive to get 5 degrees cooler, and about $10 less, which paid for the fuel to get there and back. I will play again in a few weeks to see how this course grows in. Avoid the bunkers; just call them GUR.

Staff is ok. Path from 9 to 10 ish confusing and terribly marked been there 3 times when someone in my group went the wrong way. Today a ranger chilling in the shade on the clock doing nothing through up his hands in disgust as we made the turn mind you we were on a path 100% of the time. Inn appropriate response from a grown man. If we are doing something wrong come have a conversation and educate me. On top of his laziness. The course is always in some manner of disrepair. It was cheap and I didn't feel ripped off for $26 but it's a not reliably in good condition anymore. Played 18 in 3:40 in a twosome We were pushing a single in front of us but had an obnoxious twosome behind us hitting up on us but didn't have the skill or spine to catch us on a t box. Could've been a better experience if the ranger was doing his job instead of hiding behind in the parking lot monitoring the cart path at the turn for people enjoying themselves. This is your last 5th chance TB we feel you, you don't want us and we don't love you anymore.

Course was a disaster! Granted, theyre getting ready to overseed but...

The greens has grass clupping everywhere. Cups were poorly cut and ragged. Flags were crooked.

Pro shop was only open from 6-9:30 and that was the only place you could purchase a beverage (which was very limited in stock.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$

Slow play on a course in poor condition. Greens most dead grass, bumpy, and slow.

This GC is in terrible shape and very poorly maintained. It is the worst course I have very played in my 67 year. The owners have not properly maintained it and everything is over grown and not properly maintained including the restrooms….

If Torres Blancas wants to have sand traps, proper maintenance is required. Otherwise, fill all of them in and plant grass.

Lousy conditions in the traps.

Mosquito repellent is a must!!! If ball rolls into the bunker you are safe. The bunkers are solid as concrete.
