About
Owned by the city of Arlington, this course has been around since 1963–it’s located on the north edge of Lake Arlington and surrounded by native trees and wildflowers. Ralph Plummer designed this easy course, incorporating little water and no bunkers.
The first hole is one of the most difficult, playing over 400 yards into a dogleg-left fairway dominated by a huge pecan tree. Holes 13 and 14 play near the lake–the 13th goes 389 yards uphill and doglegs right, and the 14th measures 240 yards downhill to a green protected by water on the left side. Even though it’s a long par 3, there is a dramatic drop from tee to green.
Getting there : From Dallas, take I-30 west and exit East Chase Pkwy. Turn left, travel about 4 miles, and you'll come to the intersection of Spur 303 and Green Oaks Blvd.

Excellent course and conditions.
They’ve done a great job of maintaining the course in great condition. Pace of play was great. It helps we played very well as a group. Much of the good play was do to the great condition of the course.
Lake Arlington
Course was in very good condition - pace of play could improve - layout was enjoyable, not too hard, not too soft.

Slow greens with sandy
Half way of 11th fairway due to construction with temporary tee.

Nice Pace
Very nice course, there was construction so we tee off on the 150 marker on the 11th hole. Other that that, very nice pace [3 1/2 hours] at 12:05 start. Great layout. Will be back.
Good Course, but BAD STAFF
Had 12:15 tee time but it was closer to 1:00 because high school playing course.
Golf courtesy - non existent
I was following a group of gentlemen that turned my 18 hole experience from a 2 1/2 game to approximately 4 1/2 hours game. This was primarily due to the lack of golf ettiquette that I though existed amongst fellow players to allow me to move past them to expedite my game.
Great Course for Everyone!
This is a great course for a fun afternoon of golf with friends! The staff is very friendly, the pace of play was perfect and the course looks awesome! Thank you so much!
Couldn't start play on time
I booked at 12.15 but couldn't start till 12.40 because of their Monday morning league...
If you don't have enough time don't go on Monday..
Will come back!
Greens in great shape. Pace was good even for a holiday.

First time playing in a long time the course was in great shape and not crowded(I guess I’m the only one dumb enough to play with a 106 heat index at 12:30) the only thing I would change is keep the kitchen open longer.
Play this course
I like the layout of this course. The fairways are well kept as are the greens. (The day I was there, the greens had recently been aerated and top dressed. So I'm not able to talk about green speed and consistency.)
I found would have liked a couple of more direction signs.
I recommend this to the average golfer for a fun round.
Punched Greens
5 hour round! Booked the round on Golfnow . No advisory of punched greens on Golfnow. Archer in the clubhouse was rude when we asked why they didn’t let people know about the greens. I won’t go back to this course!!
